My wife and I drove down from Peachtree City to get a diploma framed by Kara. They have a…read morebeautiful service where they incorporate a hand-painted drawing of the college's campus with the diploma. We expected to leave the diploma there and pick it up in a few weeks. Kara said she would stay after hours and get it done while we waited since we'd come all the way from Peachtree City! Wow! That is great customer service. We also had our silver picture frame with our wedding invitation in it that had started to come apart after 29 years. She put it all back together for us while we waited! She recommended some restaurants so we had dinner and everything was ready by the time we were finished! On top of having a beautiful shop, you can expect extraordinary customer service if you need any services done here!

The prices are exceptionally reasonable. They say "creative financing" is available, which means the client can fashion his own payment plan without any interest. This establishment has been in the same building for over 15 years. As one artist moves away, another comes in to take his place, but the quality of the artwork is pretty consistent. Adult classes are taught on a month by month basis with most students staying with their teachers for years, becoming more proficient with time and study. While it is free, they suggest a donation to tour it. The venue itself is fairly nice. It is built into a former church, and has ~ 2.5 levels of galleries. I thought the space was quite good. The staff (one individual we dealt with) was very friendly and accommodating. This museum is also associated with another museum / site about 0.75 miles away on the campus of LaGrange College (the Lamar Dodd Art Center). However, its hours / days are more restrictive, so if you want to visit it you should check it out on the web in advance. We were not aware of it and were unable to visit it. The exhibit when we visited was not overly impressive. It was some juried show involving a fair number of artists. There were a few pieces that I liked, a lot to which I was sort of indifferent, and a few that I found actively offensive. You can check the website for what rotating exhibit is available at the time of your visit.
