I can't say enough how pleased I am with our countertops! We have been working on a kitchen…read moreremodel disaster forever so I am still in shock at how quickly the countertop situation went. I was given Jeremy's phone number on Sunday, October 11 by a friend who found him online. I called Jeremy Monday morning and he told me to send pictures of my kitchen for an estimate. I sent pictures at 12:39 and had an estimate at 12:46. We couldn't go to Houston to look at the granite until Saturday morning. The inventory is huge and we walked around and around for about an hour and a half before finally making a decision. Once we picked out two slabs we sent the info to Jeremy who immediately called to set up an appointment to take measurements. Jeremy arrived at my house Monday, October 19th and scheduled installation for Wednesday October 21st. Today, Wednesday morning Douglas, Manollo and Rider show up with my countertops. These guys are the best of the best! Excellent work ethics , super polite and OMG the awesome personalities. They were in and out too fast as I was enjoying conversing with them as they worked. Again, I am still in awe that I actually have countertops already and how gorgeous they are! I will be telling everyone I know to call Jeremy and his awesome team! Now if only the rest of the house could be finished...

Unfortunately I cannot recommend Jeremy Faerman from Faerman's Construction D.B.A. Diamond Cut…read moreGranite Company. He gives great customer service over the phone, is very eager, always available, good at scheduling, and willing to meet you at the right price point, but when it came down to the actual work that was done, the quality suffered. Perhaps it was because of the crew he used that day - perhaps it was because it was the Friday before a long weekend and they simply weren't there to do their best work and instead did their fastest work - but numerous people have commented on how poor the fit and finish of our counter-top is. After they had installed our white marble counter-tops I pointed out that there were brown striped stains in certain places - I then determined they had left the thin wood template they used to cut the slabs to size, sandwiched in between the slabs while they traveled in the truck, and the rain had leached the stain out of the wood and into the marble, drip lines included. They said the stains would eventually sink into the marble and disappear, but it was so bad on one of the pieces that they used up more of our marble to remake that piece, but didn't have quite enough to make it the same size, so had to glue a small piece on the corner. But it was so late already that they rushed the work and it didn't come out well. The sink was installed using some pieces of broken plywood, screwed crooked to the inside of the cabinets to sandwich the lip in place. Not exactly 'proper installation hardware'. After that, for an additional fee I was sold a 'sealing treatment' for hundreds of dollars, which turned out to be Jeremy using a thin old rag to wipe a stone sealant liquid over the surface - except nobody cleaned the marble off first, so it still had layers of dust on it from all of the work that had been done with it that day - resulting in circular swirling scratches over the entire surface that readily appear in sunlight. One of the bar counter-tops isn't level and visibly tilts forward, one of the back splashes isn't flush, and all over the kitchen, the edge laminate seams and slab seams have chips filled with grey epoxy filler in multiple places, not to mention a couple of the chips that were in the top surfaces already when they arrived (this has to occur after delivery to the stone provider because you can tell when they have no polish on or in the chip). And those stains they said would disappear? They are, almost one year later now, still very visible. So after it all, even though Jeremy (who never came out again himself) sent an associate to check on the stains, they did nothing to rectify anything, but still demanded final payment for the work. No refund, no offer to redo or correct anything at their expense. It may be BBB time, except they aren't registered with the Bureau....

I only gave 1 star because I had to. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!…read more We gave Nick a $3500 check in September for 50%. This was for 3 slabs of quartzite, 1 farmhouse kitchen sink, 5 bathroom under mounted sinks, fabrication/install. It was an act of Congress to get him to come to our house to take his measurements/blueprints. I think we scheduled this first appointment 5x, each time he was a no show and we would wait on him to only be told after he was 30mins to hour late he couldn't come. Few weeks of dealing with this we finally get him out to get his measurements. Then we deal with another week of little to no communication during the "fabrication process" as we were trying to get install date scheduled. Multiple times we were told his crew would "be out tomorrow to install" and they never would show up. We would call/text Nick to inquire and no answer/no response until hours &/or days later. This went on for almost 2 weeks. Then his crew finally shows up one day and does about 4 hours of "work". My husband and I were told by my general contractor ( has no relation to Texas Granite Guys) that Nicks installers were drinking beer the entire time. We tried multiple times to find out when the crew would be back to finish and days went buy with no response from nick. He would'nt take any of our calls or respond to any of our texts. My husband tried calling him from a friends number and go figure, Nick answers immediately. My husband strung him along for a few minutes acting as though he was a potential new customer to keep Nick on the phone. Few minutes into the call my husband told Nick who he was and then started the excuses once again. This time we were told by Nick that him and his brother - George has gotten into a fight which Nick was arrested for. Nick claims that he runs Texas Granite Guys but the company is actually under his brothers name (George). He told us his brother has a severe drug problem and that his brother put a restraining order on him and won't allow him back up to the yard to collect our remaining slabs of quartzite and that's why Nick is unable to complete the install. He assured us that he was working w/authorities and would be in touch with us ASAP to finish the job. In the meantime my husband and I track down down Nicks brother - George. He pretty much tells us the complete opposite. He claims Nick is the one with the drug problem. He also said that we paid the wrong brother, that Texas Granite Guys is his company and that Nick never gave him a dollar of the $3500 check we wrote so if we wanted any of the materials we now needed to pay George. We had a long convo with George and told him we wouldn't pay him or anyone else another dollar until after our job was finished. After another week of back and forth with both brothers making claims to finish the job and telling us the exact opposite of the other we've found another company to finish our job. Biggest waste of $3500! I under any/everyone to stay far away from this place. Not sure if the brothers are in on the scam, or if they are each taking turns scamming people and screwing each-other over or what. Do not fall for their lies. I am happy to directly message anyone that wants it all my screen shots for any/all texts I've exchanged with both brothers. All lies from day one. Do not give these guys your money, you will regret it
