Also imagine why, while on the phone with them that they disclose that, "the conversation may be monitored or recorded for quality purposes" but when you advise them that they're being recorded they state it's not allowed and hang up. Imagine why after disconnecting their crappy service, they continue autodialing your credit card and ask what kind of a business does this? On January 9, 2020 I resolved my billing issue with them and they were to write me a check for about $150.00 but instead, I received a bill. BUYER BEWARE, anything but a reputable company.

The actual product CenturyLink sells is pretty good. And the technician (Matt) who came out to hook us up was terrific. So essentially, this is CenturyLink: Their sales and "phone" service staff is pathetic, but the person who actually does some work (the field technician) was great. Both my wife and I were so frustrated talking to CenturyLink - if the technician that came out and set us up wouldn't have been as good as he was, we would have dropped their service yesterday.

After a month of this cycle we cancelled and they charged us for two months of service along with installation even though we only had days of service. I would AVOID this company at all costs. Two years ago they sent an email saying my annual plan was being discontinued and they were only offering month-to-month, but I could prepay. Now that I am cancelling, they say there policy is to offer no refund of my prepaid monthly fees. Twice tried to return my equipment during posted business hours, but their office was closed. Reached a customer service rep to cancel my account and was told the only way to cancel was by an emailed form that makes you agree to their terms. When I said this wasn't acceptable the rep hung up on me. They are one of the few options in my area, but I would never recommend them.
