Looking for a real burger joint in the Philippines?? Then I highly recommend 8 Cuts. Les see. My daughter couldn't stop raving about this place from the time I arrived. Even my mom who is 69 years old was asking for 8 Cuts. Geez, like why would I want a burger here when I can have burgers at home?? Uh no, I do want a burger here, but only from here.. In a nutshell, we each got from the Special Stacks menu. The patties come in either 1/4 lb or 1/3 lb helpful for westerners who aren't familiar with the metric classification system. Rejoice! Ingredients are all listed, menu is simple to understand, limited on photos but you don't need visuals. All of us got 1/3, with the exception of mom and baby X who got sliders. Go big or go home, right? The order - Shroom. Patty is juicy, tasted almost like an angus burger. Bread is heated in butter, so delicious. But - my son found a hair embedded in his bread. First bite and he saw that long thing. Manager or someone immediately apologized, took it away, and gave him a replacement within 5 minutes. I can't really blame the place, as they probably source their bread and don't bake it themself. He said they would investigate further, so hopefully they will take it up to their supplier. All in all, we still enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Service was excellent, always checking in on us to see how we are doing. Seriously, I have never gotten that much attention and service from any restaurant in the PI.. And for the burgers - omg - honestly, one might not be enough. It's a melt-in-your-mouth burger, seriously! Better than In-n-Out.

Just came here for lunch and got the falafel sandwich with fries! I definitely enjoyed their falafel sandwich even if there was a spiciness to it. It was still tasty and their fries are so addictive since they're skinny and crunchy. I would come Back again!

I recommend this place 100% I went with my siblings and we ordered Steal #1 which is a Cheeseburger with skinny fries and an iced tea, Steal #3 Which is a Piggy (basically a cheeseburger with smoked bacon and bacon compote) with sides of onion rings and an iced tea. We also ordered Chicken wings and Nachos. The burgers are perfectly cooked (medium), it's seasoned beautifully. The cheesy nachos tastes wonderful, every bite counts. I love their chicken wings, the amount of spiciness is perfect. It's crunchy and juicy. My overall experience is amazing. From their excellent service to their wonderful food selections, it's just superb. Note: A bucket of onion rings is a MUST!! I assure you, you wont regret ordering it coz it's soooooo good!!! "You're welcome!"

I first took a bite of an 8Cuts burger at a popup place. Was really excited when they opened up at mall nearby! It's a carnivore's heaven- the only burger place you can choose the meat blend of your patty. This means your very own freshly grilled protein has that distinct character. I opted for the ox blend which was part rib eye, oxtail and flank. This was super dry and crumbly. My Brioche bun was extremely thick and stale. It wasn't fluffy nor did it have that crisp buttered face. Overall had a hard time to chew on this thing. The other burger we ordered was a steak cut patty which was a notch better and the bread was fresher. Such a miss this time. Would still give 8Cuts another try though. Their onion rings are tossed in flavoring similarly used for Funnyons. Sweet and tangy coated in light batter but their skinny fries were the clear winner.

I LOVE 8 CUTS. The only burger joint in the whole Philippines that got me starting on burgers (cause I used to hate em). It's very spacious inside and the interior is really nice and welcoming!!! It's great quality burgers for the right price (275-450 depends on whether you'll get single patty or double). Also I love their sides - skinny truffle Parmesan fries, criss cut fries, chili cheese fries, onion rings, chips and more!!! Their shakes are also spot on!!! My favorite is their bleu cheese burger! And I just add on some caramelized onions (mind you their bleu cheese is authentic bleu cheese. Not the cheap kind mixed with mayo or whatever. And it's smothered ALL OVER your burger). If ever you're in Manila, you can't leave without trying 8 cuts!

I gave up on burgers a while back but ever since i've known 8 cuts Im now back to burger. Its pretty much the only place i go to when i wanna have a burger. I usually have the quarter pounder house blend with lettuce and pickles on a sesame bun without dressing. The pickles and the juicy patty more than make up for the condiments. Plus service is really good. shoutout to Joy who does a great job every time.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love the Food Court at Solaire! I think each section…read morereally deserves its own review. They have six food court kiosks offering different cuisines. My favorite is Americano. As suggested by the name, this is where you get the American food choices such as burgers, chili dogs, pizzas and steak and eggs. Food here will cost you between P150 to P300 but the serving size is huge so it really is worth the price. They often display the pizza they have available so you already what you can get. The slices are huge and New York style so a slice is big enough for two. I often get this if I want something quick to eat. Another popular choice is their chili dogs. I think it's a foot-long hotdog cut into two piece with a generous serving of chili and fries. I super love this but can never finish it in one sitting. I often go to Solaire not for the gambling part but really for the good, affordable food that even my kid enjoys. By the way, if you are planning to bring kids to Solaire, they can stay in the non-gaming areas (particularly the Food Court) only until 10pm.

So Americano ... serves all types of standard American food. You've got some burgers, some…read moresteaks... and of course, pizza. I hold a high standard for my pizza-- and I love them thin crust and baked in a brick oven. (Ahem, Ginos!) Though these are also alright-- if you like pizza that can barely fit in your mouth, much like the pizzas they serve at S&R. Their whole pizzas are priced at 700, but if you want the one with salmon (how fancy of you) it's 850. Apart from their pizza, I always love ordering their nachos here. They've got really good nacho cheese, and some chili that's really perfect for munching on while people watching in the food court (I swear, man, there's all sorts of characters in here... just be sure to avert your eyes every so often and not be as suspicious). If you want your nachos to go, you can always ask them to put the cheese and the chili in a separate container, so your chips don't have to go all soggy. (Plus, they give you lots of cheese and chili so you can enjoy it with more nacho chips. Haha!)

Plus, who doesn't love Bacon? Seriously. The place is small and cramped. There are a couple of high stools and three small tables under the "Long Live Bacon" sign. If you need to use the comfort room, you have to enter the secret room called ABV. It's a speakeasy and I will definitely talk about it more in another review. The food here is perfect for after a long night of drinking with friends. They offer a breakfast menu where you can customize your own plate. Want a bacon and egg sandwich made with 2 waffles? Go for it! But, in my opinion, the definite Must Try here are their Hotdogs! All their hotdogs are bacon-wrapped and deep fried! YUM! I recommend the Chili Dog (Php220) and the Kimchi Dog (Php190). Next time, I will have to try their Tater Bombs (bacon-wrapped potato tots)! But, it's always sold out when I arrive! Huhu! I can't wait to see what Lazy Bastard will "baconify" next! :D

I heard about hotdogs sold at Php 100 but never at these prices. My siblings and I decided to be adventurous and tried their hotdogs anyway. It was in Jupiter street and we found parking around the area. We saw their big sign that said "Bacon & Burgers this way". When I took a bite of their hotdog, I was enlightened. I tasted the hotdog sandwich's full potential. I experienced Lazy Bastard's BACON WRAPPED hotdog in a bun and topped with a load of toppings. I particularly found their Con carne and parmesan hotdog sandwich to be their bestest. On my next visit, I'm planning to try their AVOCADOG. On the other hand, I found their burger to be okay.

That's how popular Zark's has become over the last few years. And it's popular for good reason. Zark's simply makes really good burgers: there's nothing more to it. Of course, they have their cool gimmicks with their huge burgers and the typical "IF YOU FINISH THIS IN 5 MINUTES IT'S FREE" that comes with it, but most people really do go for the burgers. They make tasty, juicy burgers with a great selection of toppings at a price point that's definitely student friendly. I like that the flavors are all basketball references. My favorite flavor is the Shaq, which tops the patty with huge fried onions. The basketball references extend to the ambiance of the place: walls are decorated with jerseys and singed balls, with the NBA theme being present pretty much in the entire resto. If this was like a year ago, I would've easily given Zark's a perfect score, but after trying better burgers, I don't think Zark's offers anything REALLY that amazing. However, it's probably still the most solid burger place around DLSU, and I give it a very firm thumbs up.

A short walk from the Ascott Makati and 4 hungry tummy's is what caught our eyes on 8 Cuts Burger Blend. The hostess was raving about how good their Onion Rings are suppose to be and that their beef burgers are just excellent. This made us give them a try. The girl at the hostess stand welcomed us in and got us seated. It was a warm evening, so dining inside was more ideal. Since I personally have an addiction to French fries, yes we're all going to order this along with an order of onion rings too. Food selection was overwhelming, it took some time to figure out whether to get a family meal for 4, or individually order our own burger from their wide selection of foods. As she promised, the burgers were delicious. It made all of us full that we might not be going out that night and just head back to our hotel after a day of traveling. 8 Cuts might be my new go to burger joint when I'm in Manila since I'm always craving a burger day or night.
