A short walk from the Ascott Makati and 4 hungry tummy's is what caught our eyes on 8 Cuts Burger Blend. The hostess was raving about how good their Onion Rings are suppose to be and that their beef burgers are just excellent. This made us give them a try. The girl at the hostess stand welcomed us in and got us seated. It was a warm evening, so dining inside was more ideal. Since I personally have an addiction to French fries, yes we're all going to order this along with an order of onion rings too. Food selection was overwhelming, it took some time to figure out whether to get a family meal for 4, or individually order our own burger from their wide selection of foods. As she promised, the burgers were delicious. It made all of us full that we might not be going out that night and just head back to our hotel after a day of traveling. 8 Cuts might be my new go to burger joint when I'm in Manila since I'm always craving a burger day or night. read more

AMBIENCE Restaurant smelled so good once we entered! I liked that they had bar seats, a convenience for the solo traveler. They also had television though I hardly watched during our stay. FOOD We were wowed by the combinations for the burgers! We shared The Heavy Duty Php345 and The Equalizer Php345. Burger patties were juicy and cooked to perfection. I was actually okay with or without the bacon because the beef pattie was already super tasty! Veggies were fresh, chicken was fried just right, and the Onion Rings were tangy with crunchy and tasty batter. SERVICE Upon entry, they let us take the bar seats until regular seats were available. Best Burgers in Manila! Always a go to of mine when I am craving for a burger while I am in Manila. Never disappoints. Chill vibes, friendly staff, delicious food. Never can go wrong with Cheeseburger and skinny fries, so good! Arnold Palmer (iced tea and lemonade) the "lemonade" is tastes like they used fresh Calamansi instead. Great food and great service! My boyfriend and I came for lunch on a Tuesday. We were immediately greeted by the polite staff and then promptly seated. The waiters were very pleasant! The food was fantastic! We ordered the larger Cheeseburger and the Q-daddy burger. Both delicious! The Cheeseburger was simple but well executed. The Q-daddy Burger had bacon and ranch and crispy onions and was extremely flavorful. For sides we had the waffle fries and the onion rings. Waffle fries were good, but the onion rings were amazing! I always go for the classic cheese burger. Their sauce is awesome with the patty and the cheese. My favorite is getting skinny fries and pimping it up with truffle parma. It gets mixed with truffle oil and Parmesan cheese. I binge eat this all the time! They have local and foreign beers. Complex but simple is the best way to describe the menu at 8 Cuts. First, they walk you through the whereby you choose your bun, patty, sauces, toppings etc. There are so many options that you've probably never thought of! It can feel overwhelming, but in a good way. For me, it makes me want to return often and experiment with different options. My expectations were high, as I was halfway expecting the most exotic tasting burger anywhere. It wasn't that, but my burger was still outstanding!. What used to be Burger Bar at Greenbelt 2 is now 8 Cuts. Owned by the Moment Group, 8 Cuts is their wildly successful burger joint. One of the reasons I enjoy dining here, despite not being a huge fan of burgers is the freedom you have to customize your burgers, aside from the burger combos that are already on the menu. Also, 8 Cuts has fantastic onion rings! I'm not entirely sure why, maybe it's the batter and the light dusting of barbecue flavoring on it, but their onion rings are a must-order when you go. 8 Cuts is also known for their different kinds of patties, which are made with different beef cuts. Prior to dining here, I had never given thought to what kind of beef was goinf into my burgers. It's hard not to notice 8 Cuts Burger Blends. The place is well-lit, with an open area for noisier burger lovers. The decorations are also bright and yellow, bringing about a really positive feel and look to the place. This restaurant is like a paradise for all burger lovers out there. In 8 Cuts, you'll be given an opportunity to make your own burger. You can choose what kind of burger you want to make from a wide selection of ingredients. I am too lazy to make my own, so I just buy the ones that are already in the menu. I often order their famous Four Cheese burger, which is made out of parmesan-crusted patty, cheddar, gruyere, and mozzarella. After taking that eager first bite, I could easily say I was in heaven. The meat was extremely juicy and cheesy, the mozzarella was creamy to perfection, and the toppings complemented the burger so well I practically cried on the inside. I went in to grab a burger to go and this place was great. It was not a busy lunch hour for a Saturday so was promptly greeted and shown to a seat where I could look at a menu and place an order. There was a page worth of specialty burgers or you could create your own. I ordered the Hangover which was messy and delicious. Service was great. Got a menu, looked it over, server was right there ready when I wanted to order. The burger was cooked up quick and I was out the door. For it not being a fast food restaurant I was pleasantly surprised by the quickness. The place had a nice ambiance with good music playing overhead. Free wi-fi was available which is always a plus. Next time I go I plan on dinning in, grabbing a beer, and enjoying an appetizer with my burger. Highly recommend if you are craving a good burger. read more

Most people I know have no idea what a falafel is. More so a falafel burger! Yes, it exists, and it is SO delicious. This branch of 8 Cuts used to be known as Burgerbar, but after rebranding, thankfully they kept their falafel burger in their menu! If you're vegan/vegetarian, you wouldn't normally step inside this place for obvious reasons. However, their vegan customers who fell in love with their alcoholic promos requested them to come up with a vegan burger option back when it was still Burgerbar, and so the burger came to be! I really wish more establishments granted our wishes for cruelty-free meals. So, I'm really just here to rave about the only thing (except for fries) that I can eat here, which is the Falafel Burger. I wouldn't have bothered to write a review about this super carnivorous place if that burger had not existed. It's a generous serving, filled with a rectangular falafel pattie (which is made of chickpeas, in case you aren't familiar, and meat-free!). It's really so 'sulit' for Php 195, and it will keep you full for hours. This place is great for friends and having a few drinks, but do note that it can get a bit loud so it's not exactly ideal for a quiet, romantic date. read more

It essentially has the same menu, with 8 Cuts adding a bit more flare. The restaurant itself looks like Burger Bar. What I like about this place is that it serves special dishes from the Burger Bar menu. So, I'll still always recommend the Onion Rings with Barbecue Powder. Combine it this time with the Four Cheese Burger. This burger actually tastes like a pizza, it even has Arugula! It's very very tasty, I highly recommend it. What I don't like about the restaurant is that I feel like the sizes of the burgers shrunk. I was usually full with the 1/3 burger but when I last went, I wasn't full at anymore. read more

Because we were there often, the service crew knew our usuals and made us feel right at home. We like sitting outdoors but the indoor area is pretty fun too. The menu consists of mouth watering choices for those who love to have their options to build their own burgers, or for the classics who want to sample the wonderfully put together burger options. You can choose everything from the kind of bread, meat, and add-ons you like in your burger and you can put whatever you want to your heart's content (calling all food porn enthusiasts!); I usually make my own burger or just go for the Rising Shroom, Bleu, or Falafel burger if I'm looking for something specific. All my burgers I pair with skinny fries, of course, and then wash it down with their refreshing lemonade or my favorite Gin-Pom Downstairs cocktail. Burger Bar is really such a nice place. Actually, scratch that, it's 8cuts now. The whole feel of it is just spot on. It's one of the restaurants that I go to and think that hey, this place definitely knows what it's doing. It just gives off that vibe that you know you're in a pretty cool place. It has this mix of being retro and modern at the same time, that alone separates it from the rest of the burger restaurants in Metro Manila. For appetizers, don't make the mistake of getting the fries over the onion rings. The fries may be cheaper but they're nothing special. But the onion rings, priced at P80, are huge. They're a lot plus they're huge, so that makes it worth it already. The coating is thick and crisp which is what you want in your onion rings. For the burgers itself, I recommend getting The Piggy and the Falafel burger. The Piggy's bacon jam is an interesting add and despite its name, it's not that heavy as one would think. For the falafel, I definitely recommend it even those who aren't vegetarian. The chickpeas were flavorful and tasty, cooked pretty perfectly. All in all, an A+ for me all around! read more
