The donuts here are amazing. When we arrived we were greeted and the lady was so nice. There is a lot of games to play.

I finally took everyone's advice and tried out Leopold's Ice Cream…read moreShop. Thankfully, I was able to visit right as they opened around 11:15AM, so the line was not nearly as long as I have seen it previously. There are many nostalgic ice cream flavors offered here that other shops don't sell, such as the peppermint and tutti fruit flavors. However, we ended up getting the seasonal Girl Scouts thin mint flavor and chocolate flavors, which were both excellent. We opted for 2 scoop waffle cones, but I would say that they are very generous with scoop sizes, so in the future I may stick with 1 scoop. I was also impressed with the variety of treats, ranging from ice cream sandwiches to milkshakes to floats. The only really complaint I have is that the shop is small (which explains the constant line out the door) and there is a room for seating, but there are only about 6-8 tables capable of seating only 2-3 people each. So, I would not recommend visiting if you are in a large group -- you would basically have to take your ice cream to go.

However, there really is not a reason the process could not be made just a little more efficient. While waiting in line it would be helpful to easily see what flavors are available. From the way the coolers are situated you can't. So ultimately it becomes a bottle neck with people trying to decipher the flavors and going through the sampling process. And to pay, you end up summoned into the next room. Also not obvious. Higher efficiency will improve the customer satisfaction and your overall sales!!

This is the only review you need to read…read more As a supreme donut snob I can confidently tell you that The Donut Shop in Bloomingdale is the ONLY place that you should even consider buying donuts. First, the donuts are fresh and properly made: Skunk lines are present on all yeast donuts ( which is an industry term that refers to the light line on the side of a yeast donut which means that the dough has been processed properly. ) The icing is level and without cross hatches - meaning a real person is icing them - not a machine ( aka Krispy Kreme) The oil used is fresh and at the right temperature. I've never tasted anything that had a lingering rancid flavor ( old oil ) or been left with a greasy residue on my hands ( meaning the donuts are cooked at the right temp) The texture is perfect - never dry ( overcooked ) or gummy (undercooked ) The customer service is unsurpassed. Jennifer and Lou are so kind- they held half a dozen donuts for me the day before valentines day when I needed a last minute treat for a family celebration, and I had dental surgery and I could only eat soft foods, Lou took extra care in packaging the donuts so that it would be easier for me to access when I was groggy from my pain pills. Don't waste time with the other jokers in town. This shop is the real deal.

The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I highly recommend getting any flavor of latte (hot or iced) as well as their incredible Parisian hot chocolate. Both were delicious and actually worth the $6/$7 price tag! Then, you can stroll around the main level and lower level shop and admire all of the treasures. I can't wait to visit again soon!

It was sensory overload in the best way - the heavy wood accents made for a timeless, elevated antique feel as you browsed the curated products. I could have purchased everything in this store! I loved the jewelry cases and spent a lot of time browsing the various charms and trinkets. The silk scarf selection was bountiful and I left with the most beautiful and colorful silk scarf that I can't wait to show off this spring! As if the shop could be any more appealing, it had the cutest coffee cafe nestled in the back corner. I got an iced honey lavender latte and macarons to bring home to the family. I wish I had this shop in my own hometown so I could frequent it!
