Brunson's is a bit of a well kept neighborhood secret. This little store is bigger than it appears…read more It is chocked full of grocery items you may need in between major trips to a large name-brand store. The only thing I have not discovered here is fresh local produce. Otherwise, this family-run gem has reasonable prices, friendly staff, and a tremendous variety/span of products. In their kitchen, they prepare hot food like chicken, joes, gyoza, gizzards, pizza pockets and more. This makes it a great convenient place to stop for a quick lunch snack, or when you just need a few items and want to avoid crowds.

Oh man talk about memories. I used to skip Jr. High at Mann to go here with friends. That was back…read morein the day when Mr.B still worked there. He always asked us "if us kids were skippin school" We would say no than he would reply "good.. I ain't going to jail for harboring school skippers" The best part is if we ever ran out of quarters for the pinball machine we could sweep and he would give us some change. He also gave us left over fried chicken and Jojo's when they would get too old. Man we loved this little quickie market place. I haven't been here in soo long but I do miss it. I will definitely be back to see how much the same it is. P.S. I bought my first pack of cigarettes here when I was 14.....(Smoking is bad and wrong, I no longer smoke and I do not blame Brunsons market for ever experimenting. Also this was when the asians bought the place) Ahhh if life was as simple as fried chicken and playing street fighter at a quickie mart!!
