Service was friendly in the bathroom was not disgusting. But, unfortunately, they were not enforcing The covid-19 mask policy.customers were entering and walking around the store without a mask. Well where do I begin I've been coming here for about 4 years and it's my Families go to spot We moved from the Bay area 4 years ago to penryn. I have loved coming to this location the people have always been amazing, especially managers that I have met. up until A couple weeks ago. I believe her name is Ashley? I debated even writing this review, but i was so dissapointed i had to vent. I didnt get that warm comforting family welcome im used to but rather i got like a sarcastic attitude, I thought maybe it was a bad day but I shouldnt have to suffer for that. The diesel pumps here are garbage. They cut you off after 19 gallons, then go very slow and stop at $95. If you have a large diesel rig, do not stop here unless you're truly desperate. read more

Who knew a new, very clean, 76 lies hidden just off the freeway exit of Penryn. Large mart, plenty of pumps and it's large. The couple who work here are very nice to boot. If you need gas up or down the hill on 80 here it's a good place to drop in. Bathrooms are clean! read more

I had my 2 grandsons, I was carrying one! and I was trying to get 2 fresh fruit smoothies... 94% fruit! BTW! A lady inside the mini mart saw I had my hands full, she got the 2 fruit smoothies, put the lids on them with straws and helped me to the register! It was so nice of her.. then I discovered she owns the place... so very nice to be able to get an almost healthy treat and assistance without even asking. Customer Service is not something you see Much anymore.. this was exceptionally nice and very much appreciated.. in addition, my grandson used the restroom and it was clean and stocked with the essentials needed.. thank you very much read more

Great location, easy on off free way. Prices a little high but they have lots of pumps and easy big rig/trailer access to gas/diesel. It's a safe place to stop late at night on a road trip. Their are almost always CHP or deputies taking a late night coffee break inside. The station is well lit and they even have a pay at the pump vending machine. Plenty of snacks and drinks inside. Bathrooms are not the cleanest but are cleaner than your typical gas station or rest-stop. The staff can come across as rude but they are good people. The car wash is not best but all in all this place is a good station. Beware of station across the street. The prices may be cheaper but unless you are paying in cash, I would be afraid to go there. It's seems shady and credit/debit transactions appear days late and look very strange on your bank statement. read more

Well on the wife's list of great gas stations this one takes the cake. She reported back to me that the bathrooms were some of the cleanest she had experienced in a gas station. The pumps were easy to access and it was not too crowded. The convenience store was well stocked and even had a pretty decent wine selection. One stop shop for just about everything you need when you're travelling to/from Reno. read more

So tonight we arrived home late from a dinner party to our heater being out of propane. I have my seven month old child at home who would freeze under the conditions. Granted I showed up to the gas station a bit late... But here is my scenario: At approximately 10:15 I walk in to Penryn gas station and am greeted by a woman whose name tag reads "Leslie". I asked politely, "Do you have anyone here who could still fill my propane tank?" Leslie responded, "Yeah. But don't ever bring the tanks this late again. It's a pain in the ass for me to fill these." My response, "I am sorry. We just ran out and my son will freeze tonight." Leslie then responds with a rude nod and this rebuttal, "Yeah, whatever." I proceeded to bite my tongue.... After my tanks were filled, 14.6 gallons worth, I noticed a sign that said, "50 cents off any purchase of 10 gallons or more of propane." Of course Leslie neglected to comply with said sign. I cannot believe the gall this woman had. Very unprofessional. In my opinion, if you cannot professionally preform your duties, and lack tact... You should not be employed. Leslie should be fired. read more

Today I filled my tank up with gas and proceeded to the $8.00 car wash. The car wash tore my passenger mirror off of my 2010 Toyota Tundra. I spoke to the owner about the damage and he told me he needed to review the video. He returned to tell me that he doesn't understand why it would do that. He said if you don't pull into the stall exactly straight this could happen. He took absolutely no responsibility for the damage. The machine was clearly damaged and I would strongly recommend not taking your vehicle into this car wash or purchasing gas from here. read more

Was fully annoyed today at this place. The pump was malfunctioning and wouldn't accept my pin for my debit card and kept canceling my transaction! So I pulled around to another pump. Then after my transaction was complete, the pump asked if I wanted a car wash? I said yes and so it printed up my receipt with the code on it. I went to the car wash and went to put my code in, but the pin pad was completely sealed up with duct tape! The only thing you could do there was pay cash!! I pulled through the car wash and went inside to get my money back. Explained the situation to the women in the shop, and they started arguing with me telling me that I was wrong! That the pin pad was available, but the credit card insert spot was taped up. I said that may be so about the credit card spot, but the pin pad was taped up as well! Unable to put the code in! I told them they shouldn't have that option available on the pump if you can only pay cash. Again they just wanted to argue, and they wanted to have me go and look at it with them. I told them I needed to go and they needed to refund my $6. Finally that was done, but the whole experience was inconvenient and frustrating! read more

Easy access right off the freeway with lots of pumps. I live in Auburn and almost all of the gas stations are hard to access and you have to compete with lots of other cars to get a spot at a pump. (Think lines waiting for gas sometimes). I always try to fill up elsewhere when I can and this station is now on my list of spacious, less stressful gas stations in the area. I stopped in to fill my RV with propane as I have done in the past. This time I had nothing but issues, primarily with the "self-proclaimed expert" with 20+ years of experience. He hooked up the filler hose, then proceeded to "tell" me that my tank was full. I mentioned I had been 'dry camping' for over 5 weeks since I last filled the propane and the tank gauge read nearly "E". He "told" me that those things are always wrong and that I must not remember filling up more recently. He then "told" me that my tank had a problem and needed professional service. He continued to "lecture" me on his knowledge of propane filling. I told him to disconnect his hose which he finally did. I went to another location, Auburn Gold Cntry RV park, he hooked up, pumped 12 gallons into my 14 gallon tank with NO ISSUES. I certainly hope that the "professional" at 76 was an employee, not the owner/manager. Oh, did I mention that the price was 40 cents a gallon cheaper at the rv park? read more
