So tonight I decided to ask the associate why every time I pay cash you folks don't give me the cash discount she said we have to ask for it and also needed to be a Foodland Maikai member and show proof. Come on now where's the customer service the way the gas prices are so high what's 5cent gallon cheaper. I told her the Monsarrat Aloha just gives me the discount because I pay in cash . Keith seems to be the only guy working here. There's a gal in the convenience store that handles the gas dispensers. She told me that Keith will be right with me. I think Keith took a car around the block for a spin. Then he had to attend to a guy that maybe had a serious problem. When Keith had time, I asked him to check my oil level since the indicator light flashed on. He asked me to move my car closer. I had parked on the other side of the building because the right side was filled with vehicles. Eventually, he got to me, turned on the ignition and saw the indicator light. He popped the hood, whipped out the oil stick and showed me that the level was fine. He said the light could have been triggered by the oil not circulating... or other reasons. Hmmm... Ok... At least I had enough oil! I appreciate his quick diagnosis - especially because I was a walk-in and an unknown...

I remember Nadine C getting this information from Craig T and I'm in this location so often not thinking of taking the opportunity until this day that I was meeting friends in the area but was basically on fumes and omg...though honestly I'm surprised to see how little cars are here considering but at the current rate of 4.31 is something that is a great deal. It's not the first time but had a bit of trouble my card payment as a tapper and answered all the question of zip code and whatnot was declined at was told to "see cashier"...hmmm went in and asked about it and of course didn't know but told me that I can just buy through her...sigh...okay $10 cause I wasn't having it and she told me to slide and not tap...hmmm!?! Added my $10 fuel and tried again to slide and it worked...GAH!!! Not comfortable sliding these days but some places tappity doesn't work but if you're in need for some gas this is absolutely a great deal to get you on your way. Thank you!

Running on fumes…read more.. Not me for a change but my ride as it takes me to places that it never asked for but am so grateful for it hanging in there along with me. This day is no different and as I'm in Hawaii Kai Towne Center location and not familiar when it comes to a gas station just didn't want to risk the time and effort for a search took this Aloha as I see many do as well. With lots of pumps though didn't see any air or vacuum stations they do have a mini mart that I didn't enter as i just needed gas did notice that they do have a bit dated and sad looking squeegee and touch up trash can which is still not many stations have and is good to know when the windows need a bit of love. Honestly don't know anything else about this location but was definitely a convenient for gas and various items and is basically clean and got me on my way. Thank you!
