It's convenient because it's on the way to the freeway but that's about all it is convenient for. Inside the staff isn't friendly or helpful most of the time. I can be standing their for a while in front of their faces waiting to pay, and they still keep having their side conversations with each other. I have yet to have a good experience at the AMPM. You will almost always encounter homeless people here approaching people for money or food. There is a McDonald's behind this gas station, so it gets pretty crazy here at times. You will also find a lot of large semi trucks here. The car wash at this location also sucks. It doesn't wash your car well and it definitely doesn't dry your car at all! The dryers need to be fixed on this thing. You can see what I mean in the photos.

For the past couple weeks I've been going in and buying Jalisco beer and the cases just haven't been ringing up so everyone but MARIA will usually find a beer around the same price which is $15.99 and scan that one. Today and the past couple times she gets a case that's around $20.00 and says "sorry that's all I can do" no that's not all you can do MARIA! Fix the skew in the Jaliscos it's been weeks! Whatcha doing chick!? I also let her know today that again the arco across the way is $15.99 and have been out. She didn't give a rats booty! Well guess what MARIA after I left ur shitty attitude I went across the street and they had my Jaliscos for $15.99! Due to Maria and the majority of her crappy staff that have terrible attitudes. I don't know the whole intentional or not but I would assume that the system should automatically recognize that I paid in cash inside but for some reason when I got home I realized I was being charged the credit card price which is an additional 10 cents. I get a lot of discounts at Shell because I have the application but I included the screenshot to show that I was basically charged an extra 10 cents per gallon for absolutely no reason. Not sure who this could happen by accident when I paid in cash.

Even without the CRV tax, the base total for all 3 cans of Monster combined, is $9.27. If you look at the receipt though, you can see that they only deducted $1.52 and $0.77. That's a combined savings of $2.29. It doesn't take a genius to realize that that's not deducting the full $3.09 that an individual can of Monster costs at this establishment. I tried voicing my confusion to the employee ringing me up, prior to purchasing, but he just tried to make me sound like I didn't know what I was talking about. I took his word for it at the time, but when I actually got home and calculated it for myself I realized that he was wrong. I just wanted to give a heads up to anybody that comes here and thinks that they're actually going to be getting a whole can of Monster for free, that you won't be (even though the store is telling you that you will).
