Five stars don't feel like enough. Their commitment to treating people and belongings with respect and zero judgment drew us to them initially; that promise held up completely in person. The fees were very reasonable and the experience was great from start to finish. I got an appointment within a day and a half; the appointment time window was only 30 min (practically unheard of!); they texted confirming their actual ETA and arrived on schedule; and they were kind, careful, and efficient. They'd already exceeded expectations, but at the end, they volunteered to move some heavy items I wasn't getting ride of into the garage. One grabbed a broom while in the garage and swept fallen leaves and sticks away from the entrance. Another grabbed a hand truck (with permission) and stacked a few bags of compost on it so it would be easier for me to move it around the yard. They were so observant and thoughtful. By the time they left, they'd practically turned into motivational speakers, showing a level of kindness and encouragement that made me genuinely felt cared for. I truly couldn't be happier.

It's rare when the price I imagine is the price I get. No surprises, very reasonable. I chose Mary and Michelle because they not only take your garbage but also donate worthwhile items to the homeless in your stead. Very sweet women and very fair service!

We called this company the day before we needed the service, JK Garbage arrived on time and actually arranged with me to clean up everything (they needed to make several trips). First the good: -They're cheap, lowest price of anyone…read more-They come weekly -They take anything bagged up, and only bagged up Now the bad: -Irregular time schedule, no idea what time of day, could be 5:30am or could be 7pm -THEY DUMP YOUR TRASH ON THE ROAD ---yes you read that right, we received a FB message from someone about a 3 miles away who said they just finished picking up our trash from their yard. We called JK removal and they claimed not to have picked up our trash and they weren't the ones who dropped it. ---fast forward 3 months to 9/19/18, and my mother in law received call from the city engineer's office saying her trash was found on the city streets and to come get it picked up. So if you're super careful of making sure not to throw away anything that has your mail or any personally identifiable information in it, I'd go with JK; however, if you just toss things to get it out then go forward at your own risk.
