I've been contacted twice today by a manager and the corporate office regarding this issue. Container is supposed to be emptied today and I was given a credit for the missed service calls. I've decided to continue service with the company and should it continue to be responsive and on time, I may increase the stars. See photo below. This is how it looks when you contract with Rumpke for your dumpster needs. I'm only giving one star because ZERO stars is not an option and their customer service has - for the most part - been helpful - or at least tried to be. We contacted them in March to bring a container to our home/farm. Work order was issued on 4/16, but container was not delivered until April 29th. It is now June 16th and despite weekly calls, my container has not been emptied despite being "guaranteed" that it would be done. Called on 5/29 to inquire about our specific pick-up date to be told that it was supposed to have been emptied on the 4th Thursday (5/28). Received a refund for one month's service but was told that they would send someone out on Monday (6/1). I called again on 6/5 because we had still not received service and bags were piling up in the shop. This gentleman indicated that we could expect pick-up on Monday, June 8th. NOPE! DID NOT HAPPEN! I called again on June 11th and the gentleman called the department that schedules pick-ups and promised that it would be picked up on Monday, June 15th and to go ahead and add the rest of our trash on top of the container and they would get it all. I informed him that if I got home on Monday and it had not been emptied then they should just plan to give us a full refund and pick up their container. Guess what? NOPE! DID NOT HAPPEN! I called again today (6/16) and the wonderful CSR tried her best to make something happen and once again - NOTHING! This is not only unsightly, it is unsanitary. Frustration does not even begin to describe the relationship with Rumpke! Oh and you can note from the photo that we even put in a concrete pad to make it better for their drivers.

I can't remember the older gentleman's name but the younger guy is Curtis... I heard the older man say it. She panics when she sees her little calendar and notices it's Thursday. There was a Thursday when she even had me sit outside and we bird-watched (legit we each had a pair of kids binoculars) and ate breakfast just so she could see them! They even accepted the muffins she made, legit she made, I let her measure everything (after I picked out the proper spoons etc) I just mixed and guided, like I always do. They were punctual and very professional. They quoted me at the start of the job a very fair price. They have tools to cut up box springs and take apart furniture to move. Their truck is clean and they have step ladders and other moving equipment. They even moved some delicate furniture for me without any damage. They carry quilts and straps. I will definitely use them the next time i need stuff done. This was my first time to use them and I was very satisfied.

Five stars don't feel like enough. Their commitment to treating people and belongings with respect and zero judgment drew us to them initially; that promise held up completely in person. The fees were very reasonable and the experience was great from start to finish. I got an appointment within a day and a half; the appointment time window was only 30 min (practically unheard of!); they texted confirming their actual ETA and arrived on schedule; and they were kind, careful, and efficient. They'd already exceeded expectations, but at the end, they volunteered to move some heavy items I wasn't getting ride of into the garage. One grabbed a broom while in the garage and swept fallen leaves and sticks away from the entrance. Another grabbed a hand truck (with permission) and stacked a few bags of compost on it so it would be easier for me to move it around the yard. They were so observant and thoughtful. By the time they left, they'd practically turned into motivational speakers, showing a level of kindness and encouragement that made me genuinely felt cared for. I truly couldn't be happier.
