As someone who's extremely particular about their vehicle, I was determined to do my due diligence. After a days of scouring reviews, I narrowed down my options to a top five list. Tintify stood out to me for many reasons. 1. A flawless review record - not one single bad review. 2. Armando and his daughter Amaya are a family duo, and I love supporting small businesses with a personal touch. 3. Armando took the time to answer all my questions, and I had a lot. 4. Johnson window films are a reputable brand, and I was impressed by their brand quality after doing my research. 5. He doesn't remove door panels, which was a huge plus for me. I opted for the Johnson IR supreme window tint film, 45% around except for the front window, which was 70%. I wanted a super ceramic tint that would provide excellent heat retention without being too dark. And let me tell you, the front windshield tint was a game-changer - it's an absolute must-have for resisting heat. I will say that after driving all the way out to Marysville, my front window was a lot bigger than Armando anticipated. So he had to order a bigger roll, and I appreciated his honesty and willingness to make it right. He even came out to my house to finish the job - talk about dedication. After a couple of days, I rolled my windows down, and the cut lines looked like they were laser-cut by a machine. At first, the windows seemed a little darker than I expected, but after a couple of days, they lightened up beautifully. Armando had mentioned that the tint might be a little hazy at first, but it looked so clean and clear from day one. I'm blown away by his professionalism, attention to detail, and the pride he takes in his craft. If you're looking for someone to tint your windows, look no further than Armando and Amaya. They're the real deal, and I'm so grateful to have found them. I'm a lifetime customer now, and I couldn't be happier with the care and process of having my windows done. So I also like to point out that a window tinter is much much different than a window tint installer which just has a machine print out a sheet and slap it over your window. I went to Chris from these google reviews after a bad experience with a regular wrap on my TWO brand new Teslas. Speaking with him and his wife Jennifer, they assured my husband and I we'd have ZERO issues. He showed us around, they spoke with us on my ideas for my 24 Tesla Model 3 Performance, picked a color and a flake then I paid my deposit. We setup a date for drop off and was given a timeframe for pickup. A few days prior to drop off I checked in to see if my color/flake came in and he asked for more money "to buy product". As a business owner myself that has unexpected expenses sometimes, I was hesitant, however, I agreed. Drop off day came, I explained NOT to drive my car as I have winter tires on it and my insurance won't cover it. No biggie! Gave my keycard and he gave me a timeframe of a week then off we left. He spoke to my husband a few times who informed him we'd be going out of town the following week and we'd need the car back in the timeframe given. Unfortunately, that's when ALL my car issues begun. Pickup changed multiple times without proper communication. I was asked to send more money day of pickup so he could "buy sand paper to do a slight sanding for the flow coat process". I reluctantly sent another $50 (+tax). I sent a text when I was 2hrs away from pickup asking for the pictures he promised and making sure the timeframe would be fine still. AGAIN, it changed! Then I was asked the next day to "bring my charger and have a chat". My husband called him & he informed us "it looks super bad". We told him NOT to touch it any further & we was heading to him. Upon getting there we seen the MANY issues. However, he INSISTED he'd fix it & the new timeframe for the 4th time would be acceptable. Let me not forget he asked me to pay the remaining amount before he told us how badly it looked! Finally, enough was enough. I called Tesla & sent them the pictures I had of the car. They informed me to take the car back before he "completely ruins it" & costs me $10k+ to fix. I picked the car up and seen he hadn't even touched it for the 3 days between us seeing it & picking it up. Saying he was "waiting on my color to come in again but, it would for sure for sure be ready in the now 3 days away". At that point I was over it. I picked up my car explaining I needed to take it to Tesla. Which wasn't a lie! I drove it to Tesla & by the grace of luck, he in fact did NOT put a permanent paint (that it was supposed to be) on my car. He did however have paint in areas that should've been draped off and I do have a rear quarter panel that IS ruined. So, as you'll see in these photos I lost my cool on him. As anyone would've probably long prior. Throughout all of this they told us about their baby being taken from CPS for "suspected child abuse", then how they BOTH relapsed on METH! Now, I'm not one to judge someone from their past. However, I am one to care about MY situations. He trashed talked the other company the entire time he had my car & did worse. He kept taking other cars without doing anything to mine. He continuously asked us to hang out with him & his wife for "drinking, bowling or anything else". We constantly told him NO as we're too busy. I explained over & over all he had to do was communicate with me. I should've taken my car back long prior to when I did, however, I was 10+hrs away by time I found out how bad things was. Even day of pickup he had a new car in working on it instead of mine. There's so much more but even TODAY he's threatening ME when HE was the one that VANDALIZED my car. Almost all these reviews are FAKE or from people that had simple jobs and before he got back on meth again. Also, threatening with a restraining order from someone ONCE asking for a refund is WILD behavior. At this point it is what it is. I make GREAT money and he'll never be on my level. From the moment I reached out for a quote, the communication was quick, clear, and professional. They answered all my questions about tint percentages, the type of film they use, and what the chrome delete process would look like on my car. When I arrived, they took the time to walk around the car with me and go over the details so everything came out exactly how I wanted. You can tell right away that they take pride in their work and really care about the finished product. The shop was clean, organized, and the whole process felt very professional. The window tint came out flawless. No bubbles, no dust, and the edges are super clean. It completely changed the look of the car and made it feel more private and cooler inside. The chrome delete is what really blew me away though. My Q50 had quite a bit of chrome trim, and they wrapped it perfectly. Every piece looks factory blacked-out and the lines are extremely clean. It honestly looks like it came that way from the dealership. What I appreciated the most was the attention to detail. They didn't rush anything and made sure everything was done right. They also explained the aftercare and what to expect while the tint cures, which shows they care about the customer experience even after you leave. If you're thinking about getting tint, chrome delete, or any cosmetic work done to your car, I highly recommend Mo Tint. The quality of the work, professionalism, and overall experience made it 100% worth it. My Q50 looks so much better now and I've already gotten a bunch of compliments on it. Even though the email said Corolla Cross L, they still thought it was a Corolla. They quoted us accidentally $100 than what the price was but knocked off money as a sorry for the wrong quote which I loved. The down side was the mess after. It was clean when it was dropped off, but you'll see on my photo the whole side was stained with what they spray on the tint to make it stick. Zoom in to see how dirty they delivered it. It would have been amazing if they delivered it the way we dropped it off. The worst part was they left scrap tint on my hood and left it outside like that leaving a stain on the hood. I took it straight to the garage and said you left this on my hood. Overall, looks nice tinted, but leaving tint scrap on the car hood and not cleaning up what stain or mess you made is very disappointing. I actually do feel bad leaving a bad review. I didn't notice the mess and trash until after we paid and was about to leave. As I mentioned, I shouldn't have to clean the car that was already clean and pick up their trash left on my car that was sticking to it and staining it.
