I had been wanting to fly in a helicopter for the longest. I finally purchased a Groupon for this place and went for it! We were greeted by Scott in the office, super nice guy. I was wearing my Seahawks shirt (Monday night football) and so we started bantering. This place is super hospitable. They have a great waiting area with vending machines. They offer you coffee (brew it yourself with their Kuerig), they offer water. You can purchase boozy drinks if you want. The waiting area offers free video games and this cool camera thingy where you can take pics and make short videos and send them via sms or email. So flippin cool! We opted to fly with the doors off! Trust me on this, you'll thank me later. Ladies, if your hair is long and you don't have a hair tie, they will give you one. (brand new). Your belongings go in a knapsack they provide and your phones are put in a plastic pouch with lanyard. They let us keep those items! I thought that was really great. Think of it as a souvenir. :) Scott went over in great detail, what to do and how we would enter and exit the helicopter safely. The pilot was Ryan, he was so sweet. The views were amazing. This review is in regards to the customer service experience on 2/23/20. We purchased a Groupon. When you book, they immediately redeem it even though they do not yet render services. By accident I clicked on the wrong date, emailed them, and they were able to change my date. I was very thankful for that. We arrived at the location, but nobody was there yet. So I called, I spoke to a gentleman who stated he was on his way. Once we checked in, another employee gave us some information, took our picture in front of the helicopter and then we went back in to wait till take off. Once we got in the helicopter the pilot advised that it was shaking and not supposed to do that, so he canceled our flight. I am HAPPY he did this and though customer satisfaction/expectations are important, he puts SAFETY FIRST!!! I was very grateful for this. Since we bought a Groupon he said we would need to contact Groupon for a refund, we did, and our money was returned. He did offer to take us out another day; however, this was the last day before we flew out the next morning. I hope to go on my first helicopter ride again when we go to Vegas next. read more

Even with no notice we were able to get reservations easily and got a tour of the city. The location is north of the strip but easy to get to via uber/lyft. The service here was very professional and friendly and I would definitely recommend them. The prices were reasonable compared to others, recommend looking at groupon or calling them up. Our helicopter pilot was Brian who was extremely welcoming and made our flight around the strip a great experience. I will say that prior to actually getting onsite, I was nervous due to the phone interaction. The original phone call was full of information. If you buy a voucher from TravelZoo or Groupon, you have to book through the 702 Helicopter website to book your tour. I called back to ask a few more questions, but I got their voicemail. I didn't hear back from the following day, so I called again. I spoke w/ someone who helped answer a few more questions. After purchasing the voucher, I called back and the person who answered said they needed my voucher number and pin number. I let them know that I was booking for two on a private flight for the twilight. I was notified to go to the website to book so it showed in their system. When you're ready to book, the website asks you a few more add-on options, SUNSET/TWILIGHT TOUR (limited availability), Same Day Booking, Private, Group Reservations, Magic Show (off property) & Scooter rental. I booked a private helicopter for us along w/ the sunset/twilight tour. Upon checking out, there is additional charge of $15.50 per person for North Las Vegas Airport Fee. This was discussed over the phone so no shock here. Over the phone they also let me know that this location was NOT at McCarran or within that area. Apparently no one reads and just assumes it's around that area of the airport. I called back to notify them of my booking for two on a private helicopter for the following day. They said they had me in the system and would see me tomorrow. I wasn't informed that we would not get a twilight fight out either on the website or over the phone. I did receive an email later requested the voucher number and pin. I called to provide it to them, but yet again, voicemail. I replied to the email to provide the second voucher number and pin. I called back the following day because again I didn't get a return phone call. I called to see if I needed to print out the voucher, to which they said no. In addition to ensure they got my email w/ the voucher number and pin. To which they said they did. As requested, we arrived 15 minutes prior to our 530 appointment. We checked in where we filled out some paperwork, basically signing our lives away. As it approached 530 we asked if we could get a photo next to the helicopter that was in the hanger, which they allowed. My date said 'i wish we could take one next to a prettier one'. The one we took a picture next to was bronze color. I'm not sure if staff notifies their customers that they can take a picture next to one before/after flight. If they don't they definitely should. Not everyone gets an opportunity to do this, memories are always good to have. The staff was very friendly. Very knowledgeable. The rules and regulations are just basic things we all should know, but we have to all be told for everyone's safety. Our flight appointment was for 530. We didn't get in our helicopter until 540. On this day they only had one helicopter taking tours. We ended up missing sunset in the air, which is the whole reason I booked this flight at 530 per the suggestion of the woman on the phone. Once 540 came around we were sat in the helicopter. Our pilot gave us instructions on the dos/donts. Mainly the same things you heard on the ground. It is certainly a breathe taking experience to be able to fly over the strip so close. The left side def has the best side for photos and videos. There are no obstructions on that side. Both going out to the strip and returning the left side sees it all. The right side of the helicopter gets to see everything that's not the strip clearly. Don't get me wrong, you can see the strip on the right side, but if you want a clear video/picture you have to lean and maneuver your way to get a good one. The takeoff/touchdown were smooth like butter. The over experience was great. A few ways it could be better as mentioned, but overall def worth doing. read more

My nighttime helicopter tour from 702 Helicopters above the Las Vegas strip on July 22, 2019 was absolutely breathtaking! Joelle was very courteous customer service. She was detailed in the check-in process. She took me to their hangar and showed me the various helicopters they use in providing their tours. She even assisted me in getting on and off the helicopter. I was lucky to get the front seat, as I came by myself. Andy, our pilot the evening, showed confidence & professionalism in flying red helicopter. He was very friendly and spoke to us through our headphones that also had boom microphones. My sister and I got a Groupon for the tour on the strip tonight at an amazing price! We arrived a little early, our tour was at 8pm. They weighed us, then took us out to take a complementary pic next to a helicopter. They were right on schedule. They took us out to the helicopter where our pilot, Johnny, waited, then strapped us in. Before we knew it, we were airborne and headed to the strip. The entire flight took around 10 min. For the cost of the Groupon, I feel that this was absolutely worth it! Everyone was extremely friendly sand welcoming. Setting up the tour was really easy. Found 702 Helicopter via Groupon. The deal was a helicopter tour of the Las Vegas strip for up to 3 people for $130. Groupon was also having a promo sale so I got it for $103. After purchasing the Groupon voucher, you go to their website and put in your information and pay an airport fee (I believe it was $15 per person). You can also use that time to purchase any add-ons you may want. I was given a call within the hour to set up / confirm the date and time of my flight. (If you have a specific date and time in mind, I would recommend calling ahead before booking to make sure a slot is available. I did that just to make sure & they were very accommodating.) The confirmation email they send you afterwards is VERY detailed and it helped so much in terms of finding the place because we decided to drive there from our hotel on the Las Vegas strip. They have free parking! But if you don't want to drive there, I know they have a promo with Lyft that might help. Check-in is 15 minutes before your flight. It is about a 20 minute drive from the Las Vegas strip, but we left 40 minutes beforehand just in case since it's always traffic on the strip. When we got there, we checked in, weighed and then taken outside for a complimentary photo. They even email and print out the photo for you. The print-out isn't very great quality, but we still greatly appreciated the souvenir. You can also request for them to take separate photos on your personal phone and camera. It was a lot of fun because they even gave us a little insight on the different helicopters and the background in becoming a pilot (they are also a flight school). When it was time for the flight, we were driven out to the helicopter. It was fun getting to see the helicopter we were riding land in front of us. I booked tickets for me and my boyfriend. The tour carries 5 people so we had 3 random people join us, which we didn't mind. There is an upgrade to take a private tour, but since it was our first time, we just wanted to see what things were like first before spending the extra money. In the helicopter, it doesn't matter where you are seated because everyone is given a great view so there was no big downfall on it. They definitely make sure to seat you with your partner / group. But next time, I still may opt for the private tour in terms of just wanting more privacy for a date night because everyone is seated pretty close together. The overall sights were spectacular. It was so much fun! They give you a great view of everything and fly you so close to the Stratosphere that you see the people on it! They also give you some great info about the area and places you should check out in Vegas. It was a 15 minute flight and I really wish it was longer. I think there is a longer flight package, but it wasn't part of the Groupon voucher. But regardless, the whole trip was definitely worth the price we paid for it. It was so much fun and everyone was so nice & accommodating, I definitely want to check out 702 Helicopter for other tours they are offering. read more

Our pilot, Levi, was great to fly with...he was in tune with when to strike up conversation and when to just let the view speak for itself. Never having flown in a helicopter before, my girlfriend and I were a little skittish that the flight would be jerky or wobbly, especially since they looked a little smaller than when I was expecting. But all those worries faded away as we took off and it was smooth with only a slight swaying a couple of times.
