This is a totally professional flight school and tour company. The prices are extremely reasonable too. The flight training is first rate, whether it's a fixed wing or rotary wing initial or add-on rating you're looking to get. I flew with Ian, an outstanding CFI with the knowledgeable and friendly demeanor you want in a flight instructor. And a note to bigger pilots, if you're tall like me or over 230 pounds you should (actually must for the latter) train in the R44 not the R22.

Had a very good experience flying the helicopter for the first time. Was told that the flight would cost 325$ , however when we go back I was told to pay 430$ because we were extra time in the air and for some fee I don't remember and 3 percent for paying with c.c. At the beginning I got a ground class which gave me some more understanding and idea of how everything should be.

We chose 702 based on price and reviews and they delivered on expectations. Office was clean and the staff was very friendly. We chose the VIP experience with doors off. Our first helicopter ride and it was scary at first but the ride is smooth and our pilot had a calming voice. This is the only helicopter tour service I've used in Vegas but I can say you won't be disappointed.

Thank you Levi for a memorable flight. We had a great time and I would highly recommend 702 to friends and family. The scheduling was easy and they were efficient in getting back to me with any questions. The sunset flight was way worth it if you have the chance. Thank you !

Decided on a helicopter ride of vegas on a whim and glad we ended up here. 702 Helicopter made it a very simple and pleasant experience. Even with no notice we were able to get reservations easily and got a tour of the city. The location is north of the strip but easy to get to via uber/lyft. The service here was very professional and friendly and I would definitely recommend them. The prices were reasonable compared to others, recommend looking at groupon or calling them up. Our helicopter pilot was Brian who was extremely welcoming and made our flight around the strip a great experience. Would recommend taking the helicopter tour at night with all the lights it was one of the highlights of my visit to las vegas.

They let you take pics inside the shop after they go over safety

Great customer service and amazing views. Huge shoutout to Brian our Pilot for being such a cool dude and making the ride that much better. Thanks 702

So easy to book and reserve. I surprised my wife with a birthday flight over Las Vegas and Taylor was terrific!!! Flight was smooth, sights were amazing and this is something we would definitely do again!! We are locals and appreciate an awesome business!!!

My nighttime helicopter tour from 702 Helicopters above the Las Vegas strip on July 22, 2019 was absolutely breathtaking! Joelle was very courteous customer service. She was detailed in the check-in process. She took me to their hangar and showed me the various helicopters they use in providing their tours. She even assisted me in getting on and off the helicopter. I was lucky to get the front seat, as I came by myself. Andy, our pilot the evening, showed confidence & professionalism in flying red helicopter. He was very friendly and spoke to us through our headphones that also had boom microphones. Throughout the flight, he kept us engaged and entertained. Courteous, friendly and professional staff! I highly recommended the nighttime tour of the strip to anyone visiting Las Vegas and to locals as well! It is well worth your time!

Really great experience with super friendly staff. Gilles and Andy made the whole experience really enjoyable, and it was a great birthday gift for my daughter. Definitely recommend.

They take you right by the stratosphere!

Get the dog fighting package. You do that three times, and actually get to fly the plane yourself for 3-5 minutes. It's wild. These planes are capable of 10G, F16s can only do 9G. They were built to simulate experience for fighter pilots. Flying the plane is the best. You will never get a chance to do this anywhere else, since it doesn't exist. The "bombing run" through Red Rock canyon is unreal too. Doesn't seem like these planes should be able to do the things they can do on any axis on the sky. Total paradigm shift in the mind when you are accustomed to driving a car on a flat surface. Tip: I was worried about the motion sickness, but took a couple of Meclizine pills an hour before which I recommend, especially if you are going for the hard core experience. Pilots can sense your limits though and keep things at the intensity level you request.

Staff and facilities were great, and they are located at the North Las Vegas Airport. Overall, it was a very thrilling and fun experience for her. Her only negative comment was that her flight was scheduled for 11am and she showed up at 1030am as required, however, she waited over 2 hours and 15 minutes before she finally got up in the air and was really not provided any reason while she was waiting for the delay (she was thinking they may have been short either a plane or pilot). Overall, she recommends the experience and had a great time.

There is a roomy indoor waiting area with a variety of seating, including stools with power outlets. The restroom was pretty large and clean, better than the one at the JSX (the semi-private airline) terminal. There is also seating in an outdoor patio with views of the helicopter launch area. Since I booked the earliest of these short tours, the terminal was quiet and check-in was seamless and kind. Every passenger is weighed at check-in to balance the weight on the helicopter. You have the option of requesting a front row seat ($30); you are charged if and when you are upgraded. I unfortunately did not make the cut, but I ended up being very satisfied with my rear window seat behind the pilot. Our copter had 2 seats in front, 4 in the rear. Some of the other copters have 3 front/4 rear seats: I think these are the ones that go to the Grand Canyon. We watched a safety video in the terminal, then boarded a shuttle for the brief ride to the helicopter. A photographer and the pilot accompanied us. Your photo is taken outside the copter before boarding. The seats have noise-cancelling headphones you can wear; they have music playing. The ride was smooth and quick. You basically go north on the east side of the Strip, make a U-turn just north of Downtown, then head south on the west side of the Strip. You can see every hotel on the Strip and Downtown, plus The Sphere, the High Roller Ferris wheel, T-Mobile Arena and Allegiant Stadium. Back at the terminal, your photo and a flight certificate are available for purchase. I did give the pilot a gratuity, others on my flight (all were non-American) did not. The company offers a myriad of tours--Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and more. Some of the Strip tours have added perks like a meal or foodie tour; the basic tour I took can include transportation to and from your hotel if you choose. Recommended.

Unfortunately, our experience aligns with several others. Often times, only people frustrated with…read moresomething will bother to write a negative review, but those with a positive (or expected) experience will not write a review. So it always tends to be skewed and you have to take reviews with a grain of salt, so I was hopeful that would be the case for us and we wouldn't experience the problems that others have. Just as several others have mentioned here, our flight was cancelled the day of, after we arrived. We booked SEVEN months in advance, paid in full ~ $1200 for family of four. We arrive 30 minutes prior as instructed. They tell us, sorry, we have mechanical issues, so you are cancelled. They say, we tried to call you (we received no call because, guess what, cell service is not the best around the south rim of the grand canyon...). We said, we have seen at least 4 helicopters flying, how about canceling someone else, how do you select? Did everybody else here book 7+ months ago? Who is prioritized? The reality is they overbooked, and because we paid 7 months previous, we paid less (I looked, their prices went up since we had booked). So I guess we were the easy choice to cancel... They offered to rebook the next day, yet they know that nearly nobody can accomodate this, so it is a hollow offer where they know they can "do their part to try to rectify", but also know that nearly everybody would then just cancel, and the problem takes care of itself. Great business model... Everybody that is going to book a helicopter trip over the grand canyon is there on vacation, and nobody is staying anywhere near grand canyon village or the location of this airport. It is an hour drive just from Williams and the main road, one way. Anyone who books this is driving in from Sedona or Vegas or Phoenix for a half/one day trip, and vacation days/time is precious. Its not as though you can just go do something else nearby and wait until the next day... We had one window of time planned, and the time of this flight was it. I suppose that is why they do not really care about customer service, or screwing someone last minute. Its not like they are planning for repeat customers really... Kids were beyond disappointed. The build-up and excitement, only to be completely let down last minute. They cried as we were walking out and leaving because the talk of the helicopter ride was happening for months prior. And now to the refund. The girl at the counter said the refund would take 7-10 days. Ok, thats typical, whatever. 12 days goes by, no refund. E-mail and call. They respond and say that, because its been more then 6 months, we cannot refund back to your card. We can either ACH (and attached a form) or send a check. I respond to tell then to send a check. Who in their right mind is going to provide their bank account number and routing number into a microsoft word file and e-mail it back? Fast forward ~ 21 days. Still no check. So send another e-mail (haven't called yet because that is a whole other experience...). I receive and e-mail back, not a response to my e-mail, but a carbon copy of the first one sent 9 days prior saying I can use ACH or check. Um, huh? So here we are now, still no refund. Fortunately, since we were heading to Vegas that day (was supposed to be right after our helicopter flight), we booked with Maverick for a helicopter flight over Las Vegas the next day. $450 for family of four, and the experience was excellent all around. I'd recommend Maverick, and avoid this company.

That said, the views weren't dramatically different from what you might see flying over Vegas in an airplane. The helicopter definitely gives you a closer and more unique perspective, but I wouldn't say it completely blew me away. Was it worth it? I'd say yes, it's definitely worth trying at least once, especially if you've never been on a helicopter before. However, the views of Vegas themselves were a bit underwhelming for me. Maybe I've just been to Vegas too many times, but the scenery didn't have the same wow factor that others might experience on their first visit. We were accompanied by 8 other people that we didn't know, all of whom were very nice. After an early morning pickup at our hotel in Luis' van, we went to three other hotels to pick up the other people for the tour. First stop was the Fabulous Las Vegas sign for photos, and then a group breakfast at McDonalds. We then went on a very picturesque drive out to the Hoover Dam, and we spent over an hour there, enjoying the sights and learning about the structure and its construction. Lastly, we drove out to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed the glass bottomed Skywalk, and then took more photos around Eagle Point. There was plenty of time to check out the gift shops. We saw some replica Native American structures, and enjoyed watching some dancing. We then drove to Guano Point for a picnic lunch, a hike, and plenty more photos. Before the drive back to Vegas, our guide stopped by the Joshua Tree forest, and we snapped a few photos. It was such a wonderful day! FIVE STARS.
