Waiting at the drive thru the 2 girls are talking by the window they see me and ignore me, I ring…read morethe bell they still continue to talk to each other. They when she finally said can I help you, she tells me how much I put my money on the pull out tray and she leaves it there and continues talking and it is very windy. When I'm done she leaves tray open while I'm trying to pull out and the next car has to pull in. VERY BAD SERVICE! I will drive to Selden instead of coming here .

I came here today for the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine…read more Roughly 30 seconds after receiving it, I felt light headed. A staff member, who said that he was also an EMT, took my vitals. My pulse was racing at 160. My blood pressure skyrocketed to 182/111. The young man also gave me a small bottle of water, which did not help. My vitals did not stabilize. He, nor the pharmacist who administered the vaccine were equipped, to help me. They did little for me. The young man said that he has an EpiPen but that my symptoms did not require use of one. Lastly, he did not even given me a glucose tablet when I asked for one. I thought my blood sugar was also low. I thought that I was going to die and called my next of kin. Thank goodness I had my phone with me. Staff called an ambulance, which came in about 10 minutes. The crew wheeled me out of the store in a stretcher and said that I likely have vasovagal syncope, which is a rare adverse reaction to the vaccination. The MD at LI Community did not formally diagnose me with that. Dr M. merely said that I had a "fast heart rate and racing pulse" in response to the Pfizer vaccine. An RN administered IV fluids and continuously monitored my vitals. Staff also gave me an EKG and withdrew some blood for testing. I spent four hours in the ER before my vitals stabilized. Lesson learned: ONLY GO TO A VACCINATION SITE THAT HAS AN EMS, AMBULANCE AND MEDICAL STAFF ON PREMISES. Google research indicates that Pharmacy staff is not equipped to handle severe reactions to any vaccine. I should have done my due diligence before I selected Walgreens as my vaccination site. Addendum: The pharmacist, Jenny, did call me the next day to check my status. She also informed me that she will be reporting this incident to VAERS, as required by Federal law.

This review is only about the pharmacy area of this location…read more I recently had a prescription I needed to pick up and also had a change in insurance. Upon walking up to the pharmacy counter there was one person being helped and one in front of me. Once it was my turn I had explained to the girl that my insurance had changed. She asked me to step over to the consultation side to wait for the pharmacist. As I waited about 20 minutes (the pharmacist was on the phone and filling prescriptions) for the pharmacist, there were 4 people who had walked up for vaccinations. The pharmacist proceeded to put all their vaccinations together and vaccinate them all before approaching me. Maybe these other people had appointments, but I'm not sure. As she finally makes her way over to me, she asks me how she can help me. Although the girl at the register had told her what I needed and gave her my insurance card. Once everything was entered it took me about 3 minutes to check out. However there were 12 people who came in after me who were helped and left as well as 8 people who were helped at the drive through. I'm sure there are rules about who can enter information, but it just seemed like I could have been helped and been out of there before half of the new people were helped instead of being made to wait. Since the last pharmacist left, it had been increasingly difficult to do anything with this particular pharmacy department. It seems as though across the board everything takes more time than it should. Unfortunately this has been seen at other CVS pharmacy's as well.

Online ordering needs to be improved, and customer service. I did an online order it said it was…read moreready I went to the store They said they canceled it I never got anything about it I called their customer service number 1-800-746-7287 and all it was was a game of passing me to each person for different people never got anybody on the phone it was a half hour. The customer service sucks I would never deal with CVS again! It's bad enough you're aggravated because you drove somewhere to pick up your order to be told it was canceled and now they play games passing you around the phone.

These are the places we need to be reviewing. Little gems like this in the neighborhood that people…read moremay not know about but are super useful. Also, the best BEC in town. I'm not lying. Here's what you do: Go in and grab a bagel, or in my case a Kaiser roll (with a piece of parchment paper of course), and hand it to the women at the deli counter. I order a bacon egg and cheese with extra bacon and extra cheese and it's perfect. Also for the price you really can't beat it (check the pics for pricing on breakfast). The deli counter is legit and has salads like chicken, egg and antipasto salad but you can also get beef patties and empanadas. It's also a convenient store with groceries, pet toys, candy, lotto, you name it. I love these spots in Suffolk County (think the east end's version of a bodega if you will). Thank god this is up the block from where my parents live. If you find yourself on Patchogue-Holbrook road and in need of something, really anything, here's your spot.

Their deli department makes terrific food and, either on a bagel or a roll, I love their egg sandwiches! There's nothing like a good New York deli breakfast complete with a hot cup of coffee ... they make everything from heroes and hot plates, to cold cuts and salads. Because it's also a convenience store / mini grocery store, they tend to have most of what we need when we need it - milk, bread, eggs, coffee, chips, sweets, paper goods, condiments, frozen stuff, even a small section of cosmetics and such. It's handy to have around the corner when you don't feel like battling the full size supermarket. I'm glad we have them in the area and will certainly keep going here and enjoying the store far into the future.

I give this smoke shop the full 5 stars. It's in a good location, easily accessible and fills all…read moreyour smoking needs. I go there sometimes to get some nice custom pipe tobacco. I don't buy that pre-packaged garbage, although their selection of that is excellent. I'll usually get an ounce or two of Black Cordial and this lasts quite a while. You'll also find a small selection of pipes and pipe accessories. I'm not a big cigar smoker. Don't get me wrong, I like them as much as the next guy, but I'd rather a cozy pipe. But when I do feel the urge for a good stogie, I can make my way into their walk-in humidor and pick a nice blunt from the countless cigars in there. All kinds of them. Like a cancerous little candy shop. This is a small place, not the fanciest shop I have ever seen but fits the mold perfectly of what a smoke shop be. Oh yeh, there are cigarettes too, but who cares.

Yelp to the rescue!Being that I was in an unfamiliar land, I immediately clicked on my Yelp app, and was on my way to finding the nearest and best tobacconist. Jim's showed up as being 5 stars and only 2 miles away! In the car I went and arrived shortly in their small but ample parking lot. The place from the outside looks like a dilapidated shack. Inside however, was a different story. Clean, well lit, and full of customers. Cigars, cigarettes, lighters, accessories. Everything from Ginny Stinkers to Romeo y Julieta's! A walk in humidor with a wide array of mild Connecticut leaf wrappers to the rich and bold maduros. Robusots, torpedoes, Churchill's, they have a broad and varied selection. Next time I am in the area, I will certainly drop in to replenish my inventory.
