This gas station sits on the corner of Cheney Highway and Barna Road. It is only a few minutes off of the highway, but the gas was thirty-five cents a gallon cheaper. The gas here was $2.84 a gallon and the gas at the gas stations just off of Interstate 95 were $3.19. The inside had the usual convenience store items if you are looking for potato chips or a soda or a water. They also had lottery tickets. The gas station was clean and well kept. Overall, I would definitely recommend this particular Exxon gas station.

Winn-Dixie has done an admirable job of turning itself around these last couple of years. When I…read morefirst moved to Florida back in 2001, Winn-Dixie was probably my go-to supermarket. Back then, the big supermarkets were Winn-Dixie, Publix and Albertson's. Well, Albertson's has pretty much disappeared from Florida and at one point, Winn-Dixie slid into a pretty significant decline. The saddest decline, at least for me, was their meat department. For a supermarket that once proudly called themselves the "Beef People," Winn-Dixie started relying on cheaper grades of beef, specifically meat that was inspected by the USDA, but not graded. This meat is very cheap and in my opinion, not worth buying. Well, Winn-Dixie finally took notice and focused on changing themselves for the better and started making changes for the better. The best thing for me was the changes in the meat department and their ficus on USDA Choice grade meat. They still have that inferior meat, but the emphasis seems to be the USDA Choice meat. The staff is friendly and it seems even the supermarkets are getting a face-lift and modernizing themselves and cleaning up. The vibe makes for a better supermarket shopping experience. All in all, Winn-Dixie has earned my recommendation again.
