Favorite grocery store & great location. Excellent customer service and good product selection.

I was visiting the area and needed a grocery store, so I did a quick Google search and came across Publix. We don't have these in California, so I wasn't sure what to expect or even if it was a full grocery store. Happy to report, it absolutely is and it's a really good one. Huge kudos to the deli. Seriously, what a setup. So many options, great deals, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I was just grabbing snacks for our hotel room and ended up way more impressed than I expected. The fruit bowls were so good and I loved the variety. The store itself was clean, organized, and just overall a really nice shopping experience. Prices weren't bad either. One thing that stood out to me was the alcohol situation. They didn't have liquor in the main store, but there was a separate smaller store right next to it just for alcohol. I'm guessing that's normal there, but definitely not something we do back home. Between the deli and the fruit alone, I was sold. Honestly wish we had these in California. Definitely beats Walmart. read more

My family and I went to this Publix while we were in the Titusville area. We are huge fans of Publix grocery stores and this location was very lovely. One thing that I really appreciate about Publix is how much effort they put into keeping their grocery stores clean. They always have exceptionally clean bathrooms and they also keep all areas of their grocery stores spotlessly clean. Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. This particular location is conveniently located on a main road and also not far from Interstate 95 if you are traveling down that highway. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is also great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars. read more

This is a nice newer Publix store. It is always pretty busy here. The parking lot is basically full on weekends. This is probably the nicest grocery store in Titusville in my opinion. They have a very nice deli and make good subs. I do like the Boarshead brand that is carried here. However due to popularity you can end up in a long wait trying to get served. The cart return areas are kind of inconvenient when you are leaving. read more

We came here to get stuff for one of my midterms and my flu-infested sisters, again. Go look at my dollar general review for more info. So we get the Parmesan cheese and we see a sale. AMAZING. Then we went to produce and their bags of cherries were not full! It seems like people just picked them out of the bag and snacked on them while walking around the store like a sample at Costco. Then while we're were walking to get heavy whipping cream, a worker guy scared us and almost made me collapse because the sound waves pushed me over. Give free earmuffs when walking in if you're going to jump scare people. We had trouble looking for the whipping cream. That's the brands fault, which was Publix brand. MAKE YOUR BRAND STAND OUT, DONT PUT IT INTO WHITE PACKAGING BECAUSE LITERALLY EVERYTHING IS IN WHITE PACKAGING!!! Then we started walking to the cashier people, and we went to the 10 items or less checkout and it was actually working unlike dollar general. While we're were in line, this blonde lady has the AUDACITY to tell us, "Excuseee meeeeee!!" SO. RUDE. She said it in a rude tone, which made our experience go down drastically. The WiFi in the place is great for FaceTiming your long-distance fiancé from Canada. The service around the place is horrible, and in the dead zone, so not great for FaceTiming. read more

What a lovely experience I had at the deli today... They were patient, kind, delightful, timely, and professional. Generally my experiences at a lot of Publix deli's are less than excellent because it seems as if maybe management or training has a few blind spots when it comes to customer connection and the customer experience... But this Publix has the formula down... Either that or they just got lucky and hired some very special people who already have those values prioritized. Either way I will gladly go out of my way to make this Publix my primary stop when I am in this part of town. It really was a pleasure to shop at Publix today. Side note for context: I have sensory issues and I am neurodivergent and it's very difficult for me when it comes to ordering food in public because I have very specific guidelines and processes in which I need things ordered which can make me look like a Karen I'm fully aware of that however, I'm not a Karen and I genuinely have compassion for service people all around... I've been in the service industry for over 22 years and I am in corporate sales so I fully understand customer versus company connection and what it takes to make that connection succeed. This location... Or rather the employees that were working the deli counter today made that experience above and beyond excellent. I noticed patterns and I'm very particular about quality so I always give credit when credit is due because that is a lost art... People like to complain more than they like to celebrate and today I want to celebrate the deli at Publix... It was 3:00 p.m. when I went in and it is now 3:54 p.m. on Monday January 22nd 2024... I really hope management sees this and gives those employees the encouragement and treatment that they deserve. These employees are making management look good so they are owed the credit that they have very so diligently earned today. I spend a lot of money at Publix and I can say with certainty that the Publix at this location on Cheney highway will get more of my business than any other Publix in the near areas solely based on the service I received today. read more

Place is a s*%^hole and im done shopping here. Every trip is something else. Spend hundreds of dollars here weekly and order lunch atleast once or twice a week for my family but forget it. Past three lunch trips ive waited over 45 mins past my scheduled pick up and today was 1 hour 15 mins. To have them say they cant make my exact sandwhich today. Not waiting another 30 mins your crazy. 10 other people waiting some on work lunch break. Told them if they cant handle the online orders than shut down the walk up counter until your online orders are ready or vice versa. Doesn't take a genius to figure this stuff out. Today 11-16-23, I had a bad experience at Publix pharmacy. Yesterday my doctor sent to the pharmacy a prescription for insulin needles at 4:50pm. Today I called around 4pm, and the pharmacist told me that my prescription should be ready in 30 mins later (and wait 20min in the line, because the tech Michelle, was with the client who looked like they filled her prescription at the same time, that she picked up the med) When finally arrived at the counter,Michelle told me that the pharmacist had to contact the doctor, was around 5:30pm, should be tomorrow????????, I spoke to April because I wanted to give a complaint, the same situation,apologies and apologies....... First of all this is my go to Publix, I'm always there like 7 times a week (I LOVE THIS STORE). However, today a young bagger named Cassandra asked me if I found everything and I told her just one thing Publix doesn't carry, "Panera Bread salad dressing". She said, "I think we do, I'll be right back". She came back with every single one they carried because she didn't know what one I wanted. She is a super customer service employee! If you have 2 or 3 hours to spare to do your grocery shopping, then this is the place for you. Service at the deli is ridiculously slow. They are more concerned with fulfilling online orders then taking care of the line of people waiting at the counter. You can see multiple employees walking around, but typically only 1 actually waiting on customers. There is no sense of urgency. Snails. Tonight we waited 40 minutes to finally be served. Took her several minutes to find the item we wanted. After cutting the item, she placed it in the bag, which broke. Instead of taking it out of the bag and putting it in a new one, she put the item and the ripped bag into another bag. We don't want / need 2 bags. Then she places it on the scale to print the price tag. She should have done that BEFORE putting it into a bag (she had it on the scale before putting it in the bag but apparently didn't print the tag). When she weighs it with that double bags, the weight has gone up. So now you're going to charge me more because you double bagged it? Everything is over priced to begin with. Unfortunately, Publix pretty much has a monopoly on groceries. It's pretty clear corporate and local management could care less about customers. Why would they when the consumer has few, if any, any other choices nearby? We normally make the drive to DOWNTOWN PRODUCE in Melbourne - they blow Publix out of the water on customer service, quality and price. But when we just need a couple of items, it doesn't make sense to drive that far, so we're stuck with Publix. I won't be coming back to this one. The pharmacy here is horrible. Dont waste your time. They always tell you 1 1/2 hour wait because there are only 3 of us here. Go next door to cvs. They take 15 minutes with 2 people. Publix pharmacy employees have low IQs read more

We come to Florida 2-3 times a year to visit our children and grandchildren. We have a tradition of getting a sub from Publix the first night. We have never visited this Publix and will never visit it again. We got to the store around 8:00 pm and were told they had no bread or buns. We were told they "were making due with what they had". While a very sweet lady made our wraps (because they were out of bread) one of the other clerks spoke very loudly with another customer about why she was a vegetarian!!! She sells meat sandwiches for crying out loud!! From there we went to the bakery for donuts and everything looked old and dried out. And don't get me started as to why the entire store smelled like seafood!!! Nope, won't be back!!! read more

I'm very happy with Publix in that it's convenient to where I live and I can order ahead on-line. The clerks and service personnel are friendly and many of them know me on sight. Like others who posted here, I have had issues with the deli, but these were cleared up politely. At peak hours, they are overloaded as if they were a fast food place, which they are not. Publix is not flexible in their over-the-counter drugs but I go somewhere else to get the ones they don't carry. There is always good variety in the produce department and an occasional surprise at the meat counter. Overall, a very good place to shop. read more

Publix is the best we have available in this area However they seem to be anti-diabetic friendly. Very few products for diabetics. Sugar Free must be bad word. Every few months I have to drive to Fort Lauderdale to stock up. Shame on Publix. read more

Stopped in to grab a few items quick. Very disappointed when we pulled into the parking lot. Carts were everywhere. At first we thought we were in the land of the laziness people in the world. Then we noticed there were not any cart corrals. Shame on you Publix. We paid a lot for our car and try to take good care of it. I certainly do not want my car hit by a moving shopping cart. At the check out there were only 2 lanes open. There were numerous customers in line. Why don't they have self service lanes?
