I have the 7-11 app and sometimes it has good deals on it. I went there for the $0.99 medium iced coffee deal on app. I got confused by the new fancy coffee machines. I asked a staff member how to dispense the iced coffee as it was not clear. So there was no regular iced coffee. There were only 2 options -- French vanilla and mocha. Take note if you want unsweetened iced coffee. Not available here or at least when I asked for iced coffee, I was only shown these two choices. Unfortunately both were out and they did not have stock. I'm still puzzled why there is no black coffee for customers to add ice and cream/milk and sugar to make it an iced coffee. I don't go to 7-11 to get coffee so this is all new to me. The coffee machine I saw has fancy flavors like English toffee, peanut butter jelly and French vanilla. The Tim hortons staff are my favourite (I interact with them the most but the cashier for the gas station also seems nice enough! The only downside is it's size, of course, as it operates within the store and is not its own standalone so when it gets busy with passerbys or construction workers the line can be a bit long. Either way - they all work hard and efficiently to get it all done and sorted. No seating indoors so just grab and go onwards to your destination!

At least, at the new pump, everything worked. I'm not dinging this station for this one minor issue. It was an anomaly. Every other time I've been here, everything's worked fine. And the clerk inside is always super nice and helpful. The inside of the associated convenience store has always been spotless, and large, with a ton of selections for foods and beverages. There are lots of pre-made dishes (and they don't look like the crappy fare in most gas station stores, either). One thing I LOVED here: they have a decent selection of Jewish foods! Yes, in the gas station store! There are Manischewitz cake mixes and matzah and other kosher canned and jarred foods, and Jewish candles and other small staples. I've never seen this stuff at a gas station and, despited being exorbitantly priced, I was impressed they stocked this stuff. Stopped in and got 2 small slurpees (one was lychee and the other one was tarte I feel like it was lemon something) and a box of smarties and it was $4.40 USD (I didn't get a receipt so I am not sure what the price was CAD, I was just able to check my credit card statement). The store was clean, staff was friendly. We came across this store after walking from the downtown Costco to kill time before catching the train to the airport. I would come back to this location as the store was spacious and easy to maneuver in considering I had a child with me, a rolling suitcase and a back pack (previous 7-11 we were in was very narrow and difficult to navigate with no additional items with us).

The packet was labelled as "makki da atta," but it actually contained corn starch, which is not the same product. When we returned to the store to exchange it for the correct product, instead of providing a full refund or replacement, they still charged him $1.70 for the difference. This is misleading to customers, especially when the product is incorrectly labelled. We are considering reporting the matter to Consumer Affairs so it can be properly investigated. If anyone else has experienced similar issues with incorrectly labelled or misleading products from this store, I encourage you to report it to the appropriate consumer protection authority.
