I've been wanting to check out St. Inie's Coffee, which is a combo of a coffee shop/bookstore -…read more We stuck with their Fall Menu, and I tried their Iced Pumpkin Pie Chai - this was prepared with housemade pumpkin pie sauce, cold steeped chai, and a choice of milk - I liked how they served this in a cute glass mason jar. If you can't finish your drink, they have this cool contraption of a paper to-go cup that you can request! The seating area was dimly list and plenty of tables; the only off-putting thing was that it smelled like urine; not sure if they need to do a deep-clean of the carpet? Staff were friendly, and the place seems pretty popular with the locals. Loved their various decor and signages, as they were fun to check out! Parking can be found around the back. +friendly service +bookstore on site +off-putting odors +parking in rear

I don't remember what this space used to be but it was definitely not a cafe. This distinctively…read moreshaped building has been turned into a reading room, children's play area, and cafe, which the community could really use. Food options are basic, but they have made a choice to carry some packaged gluten-free goods and some milk alternatives, so most diets can be accommodated. I got an iced matcha, which was straightforward and not overly sweet. Getting a waffle seemed the freshest option, and it was a sugary, tasty waffle with a few topping options, of which I picked a drizzle of maple syrup. Neither item was very large, but the price was right. It's a distinctive atmosphere, and you can see that this place is trying to bring something new to the area. It's not the kind of stuff you'd get at a high-end urban cafe, but it worked for me on the day.

One of those 'hole in the wall' places that serves tasty food! This spot was recommended by an…read moreemployee at the hotel we stayed at. So glad we tried it out. The chipped beef on toast was outstanding - - they actually put some of it between the two slices and stack the toast up. The potatoes were very tasty. My husband enjoyed his eggs, scrapple and potatoes. The prices were very reasonable. From what I understand, this place might only have two or three employees so if you hit them up at a busy time, please be patient.

Then we ordered 2 grilled cheese and ham sandwiches and a cheese burger. It took at least 40 minutes to deliver our food. We were about to leave, but waited a few more minutes since we would start again with ordering at another restaurant. After the 40 minute wait, a regular ham and cheese came out for my husband, a cheeseburger came for our son, and for me a grilled ham and cheese with tomato came out with the bread burned so much, I couldn't scrape off all the char. I finally took it back and they brought the same sandwich back to me saying they wouldn't charge for it (like go ahead and eat the carcinogenic toast anyway). They said they had no more ham I said bring me a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich. I finally got the sandwich, but they forgot the tomato. I was just so happy it was not burned. I do not recommend. Ambiance is a cheap diner, but the food is not cheap. For 3 adults we paid $44.00. The grilled cheese sandwiches were cheap, but the cheese burger with fries was pretty expensive. And 2 ice teas for $7.00, which seamed a little high for a hole in the wall. I wish I took a photo of the burned grilled cheese.

This was my first time visiting Bubbles Bzzz, and honestly the experience left me really…read moredisappointed. I had never been there before and didn't know how ordering worked. The first employee I interacted with was an Asian/Pacific Islander girl who was nice and let me sample a few things, but she didn't really explain the ordering process or how the menu worked. The menu setup itself is confusing because there are multiple flavors listed on the same line next to one price. For example, it listed something like mango, apple kiwi, passion fruit all together, so naturally I thought that was the drink combination I was ordering. I even pointed directly at it while ordering. At no point did anyone explain that you could only choose two flavors. After waiting, another employee -- a light-skinned white American girl with black hair who was on the heavier side and spoke fully English -- called out an apple kiwi slushy multiple times. I didn't grab it because I thought it belonged to someone else since that wasn't what I believed I ordered. Eventually she looked at me and said it was mine. I explained nicely that I had ordered something different and pointed to the menu item I selected. That's when she told me they only allow two flavors. I said I understood, but that nobody had explained that to me. I politely asked if it could be remade with mango and passion fruit instead. You could immediately tell she was annoyed, even though the store was not busy at all. While remaking the drink, she loudly told the other employee, "I don't have the patience for this," loud enough for both me and my mom to clearly hear. That was honestly the part that upset me the most. I was being respectful the entire time, simply trying to understand the menu and correct an honest misunderstanding as a first-time customer. The remake took maybe 4 minutes, and instead of handling it professionally, I was made to feel like a burden. I still said thank you when she handed me the drink, even after the comment, because I wanted her to know I heard what she said. After leaving, I called to speak to a manager and was told there wasn't one there and they didn't know when one would be in. I understand mistakes happen, especially with confusing menus, but customer service and professionalism matter. First-time customers should feel welcomed, not embarrassed for asking questions or misunderstanding an unclear menu.
