I've been a customer at this 7-Eleven for years, but over the past several weeks I experienced three incidents involving the same morning clerk. 1st incident: I bought $4 worth of lottery tickets using Apple Pay. The clerk told me my payment didn't go through and that I still owed $4. I trusted him and paid again. Later, I checked my bank account and found my Apple Pay transaction had actually gone through, so I had paid twice. 2nd incident: I bought $11 worth of lottery tickets using Apple Pay. Again, he told me the payment didn't go through. Later he told me he had paid the $11 himself to cover the transaction. I asked him, "How should I pay you back?" He replied, "Just buy me a pack of cigarettes." Trusting what he told me, I bought him a pack of cigarettes. Later, I discovered my Apple Pay transaction had actually gone through, meaning the $11 had already been paid. 3rd incident: About a week later, I bought cigarettes using Apple Pay. Once again, the same clerk told me my $12 payment didn't go through. When I later checked my account, I found that the Apple Pay transaction had processed, just like the previous times. After these incidents, I reported everything to the store owner. I have a recording related to my complaint, and I've filed a police report and reported the matter to 7-Eleven corporate. I'm also filing a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General's Office. I'm trying to find out if anyone else has experienced being told their Apple Pay or card payment didn't go through, only to later discover it had actually processed. The mini tacos are the worst thing I've ever tasted in my life. Starvation is more Appealing than these things. Whoever owns this location should seriously be ashamed to have ever ever served food like that. That was absolutely atrocious. Consider yourself warned. read more

Service in morning is horrible guy doesn't let you pay rent or do anything such a waste of time

I have been going to this location for over a year. Its almost in walking distance. The owners are friendly. All but one employee is friendly. The morning guy is often smoking in front of the store when I pull up. He walks past the sanitizer and sink and does not wash his hands. His mask is always hanging below his chin. He is often clearing his throat and wiping his face with his hands and often leaning over the counter. I hate putting my items on the counter after his hands have been touching his face. I have seen him dozens of times cooking chicken and pizza without gloves and use his bare hands to touch the food. I have equally watched other employees using gloves. I have also watched him grab food from the cooked display case and eat food as he walks over to the register eating with his mouth open and hands unwashed or sanitized. I typically put my drinks and food on the counter with the barcodes facing him and the neck of my drinks away from his disgusting health hazard hands yet he still grabs them leaving me to wait to get home to run under hot water before putting my mouth on it which doesn't help if I am not going home. I am in this store about 5-7 times weekly. Everyone but this one employee is friendly and appears to maintain social distancing, wearing masks appropriately, and washing and sanitizing hands. I have complained to the owners but they usually say it is too difficult to find good help who want to work the morning shift. I have talked with other customers who have had similar complaints about the same customer. Another favorite is he is often on his phone and distracted with loud music playing through it or he is engaged in conversations with the speaker on and then customers are having to wait. Lastly, I have the 7-11 Rewards program. If I go to type in my phone number, sometimes he bypasses it before I can enter it. OR if I do manage to enter my phone number, he reaches around and declines my rewards which sometimes is saving a couple of dollars for a soda. Last week, I noticed on receipt an extra sixty-nine-cents charge. I asked him about it? He ignored me. This weekend, I received an email about a contest that is entered by clicking yes to round up my change for a charity. So, how many times did this occur when I did not ask for my receipt and if he did it to me, then he has clicked the round up change to other customers as well. He needs to slow down and let the customer make these decisions. read more

This is the worst store I have ever been. The employees talk to you like trash an you have to repeat what you say 5x's because nobody knows good English. Always 10+ ppl in store at all times and it says open 24/7 but that's not true they close at 4am-6am that is false advertising!! read more

If I could give a 0, I would. The owner is rude, SLOW, and incompetent. He actually yelled at me one night for pouring foamy soda out. He can't keep any employees, and there's only one hard worker there. The ONLY time this store is clean and stocked is when that particular employee is working. Please just drive a little further and go to Circle K. DO NOT give this man your hard earned money! read more

Un. Was in the store near page and Bennington. Employee was rubbing his mouth and then nose with hand, wrist while baking pizza using bare hands. No fn gloves. Disgusting! Not surprisingly regards gloves as his mask was below his face whenever I is in there past several months. Why he has mask on beats the @$%! Out of me 'cause it never covets his nose and lips. 'Nother customer was ordering pizza. I told her not to and why. This was mid morning Monday. read more

I made the mistake only twice in the last year to pop in here to purchase something and both times it was bad- this last week I needed milk on way home and I opened it the very next day and it was bad. Their products and not fresh. read more

Slurpees and energy drinks! I was walking around my neighborhood, when I saw it. I saw a 7-Eleven, and it was calling to me! I just had to go in and have a Slurpee! I hadn't had one in so long, and it brought me back many memories. The prices on Slurpees have gone up a bit, but inflation and the times, I can understand. I still remembered the good old trick: put the lid on first and then fill it on up to the top! You get a lot of extra slurpage that way! I ended up mixing blueberry flavor with some grape and a cherry lemonade flavor. It was refreshing and nostalgic. I'd give this 7-Eleven four stars if it weren't for the nasty hot dog thingies they have rollin' on those heated roller/cooker things. Hot dogs are already a mystery meat... So it's definitely not good when there's a mystery behind whether something is a hot dog or not... Thank Heaven for 7-Eleven? Maybe on those days you want to go and remember what it was like to be a kid again. At least that's what does it for me. read more

DISHONEST owner & employees. I go into this 7 eleven several times a week to reload my Visa card. Today I handed him 228.00 but wasn't thinking and said 128.00 and took out 4.00 more for the fee and handed that to him and he swiped my card n handed it back to me with a nickel in change .. I left n went home and napped. When I got up n checked my phone my text from my card company said 128.00 was loaded to my card .. I realized it was supposed to be 228.00 and that the store owner didn't even say a word that I gave him 228.00 ... very upset I went to the store and told him that I gave him 228.00 plus the 3.95 fee and of course he said I didn't so I asked him to count down the drawer and once again he said he couldn't until tomorrow which is a lie because they count down those drawers frequently .. this was always so convenient because it's a few blocks away from my home .. I will NEVER ever deal with dishonest people .. they lost my business ,my partners and my neighbors will no longer be their customers either and any person I come across will know the type of person that runs that 7 eleven and the employees he had working there . Not to mention the people that work there are just as dishonest as he is, they are all lacking in hygiene including the owner and the store is always filthy!!! A lot of them can barely speak English and if they do it's very broken, I can't count the number of times I started to buy something and it was expired and not just by a couple of days.. worst convenient store I've been to within a 10 mile radius.he manages to stay in business because of all the apartments surrounding the strip of stores so it's very convenient to walk over for a gallon of milk or cereal or even kids to walk over there for an after school snack . I've even seen the owner grab a small kid by his arm and accuse him of stealing candy so I offered to pay for the candy so he would leave the poor kid alone. worst store ever. The only thing this place has going for it is the convenient factor, surrounded by so many apartments. Many of the products on the shelves are expired, including the fountain soda--check the dates on packaged items before buying! The store is filthy. The owner has been witnessed manhandling someone he accused of stealing candy that store didn't even carry and taking used soda fountain cups out of the trash, rinsing them out, and putting them back to be used again. read more

Ideally located near the Pavilion and Bennington Heights Apartments this place saves me from having to run down to Dorsett Schnucks and Walgreens for supplies. Open 24hrs and stocked with all your basic essentials. Very nice group of people working here too. Always nice to everyone in the store even when unexpectedly busy in the middle of the night. Convenient 24-hour shop that has a little bit of everything. Great tasting coffee selection to go along with it. Staff is courteous, especially Nabil (sp?) who makes sure to have you laughing before you walk out of the door! Shop owner's son (sorry don't remember his name) is also courteous and respectful. read more
