Lesson learned not to order food from there but their grocery selection is wonderful. Seafood is really good and fresh. They have the best produce in my opinion. They were one of the first stores around to place Plexiglas shields at the registers, mark 6 ft spots near the registers, offer hand sanitizer, host a senior hour and time for those with compromised immune systems, and promote mask wearing. One amazing option Schnucks offers shoppers since March of 2020 is to order groceries through Instacart (with no Instacart Fee) for drive up pick up. There are designated spots right outside the store for these orders. While the shopper is filling the order you can chat in the App and request other items. The Schnucks employees bring your order out to your car wearing a mask and place it in the trunk. The fresh produce and other grocery items I have gotten here all have been excellent quality. I shop at Schnucks much more frequently now. The Woods Mill Road Store employees are outstanding. I will return soon.

I explain to her that i'm getting these for work. She again tells me that I need to let them know in advance so there are "donuts for other people" mind you, I purchased 40 donuts, there were easily 200 more donuts in the case... she then begins to back pedal, maybe she realized how rude she was being. She tried to make small talk, about the weather... "Is it raining?" to which I replied "nope" she proceeds to talk to me about the rain yesterday and I completely ignored her, awful experience. Terrible customer service, terrible attitude.

We were expecting severe storms today so lots of people were stocking up when the tornado sirens started earlier than expected. They announced that anyone who wanted to stay in the store should join the crew in the basement to be safe. They guided us all calmly to their basement/storage/employee break area with smiles, lots of snacks, bottled water, and even flowers for moms with their babies! They made sure everyone was comfortable and had a place to sit down. I felt so safe and so taken care of! Once we were cleared to go back upstairs, everyone was as helpful as ever and the crew even walked folks out to their cars with umbrellas in the pouring rain. If everyone treated each other like this team treated a bunch of strangers, the world would be a better place. Thank you to everyone who was working this afternoon for restoring my faith in humanity!
