Dont get me wrong I understand it may cost them. But come on. .50 cents plus state tax AND the tax they charge 55cents. For a 99cents a black and mild Jazz at the store is $1.55? I'm sorry, there is no way that's legal. Anything bought under $5 on debit has a 55cent tax. I use debit and credit cards everywhere and I've NEVER been charged so much. I've seen them charge customers different prices higher prices than what's posted. Most of the items dont have pricing on the so they can charge you 100-400% more. Unfortunately this is the closest local store that I can go to since I dont drive, yet, but weather permitted I will ride my bike to a further store. They have a lot of unhappy customers which is probably why one of their window was smashed out .....I DO NOT CONDONE VIOLENCE OR DAMAGING SOMEONE PROPERTY AT ALL, but I guess karma is a bitch after all. Thankfully, this Fastrac was located right across the street from our hotel. Much more than a gas station, Fastrac serves fresh sandwiches, pizza, and baked baked goods. The only other place I could compare it too would be a WaWa, but I have never seen a WaWa with such a large dining room. I enjoyed the many varieties of hot and iced coffee. My men said the breakfast sandwiches, made fresh were very good. We did not eat it, but the pizza looked good for gas station pizza. The staff was always so pleasant. I always came out of there with more than I went in there for-- because their newspaper-magazine stock was endless and thorough. I was a kid in a candy story every time I went there, sometimes going on my work break, sometimes making special trips downtown to go there. As the previous reviewer said, "Every city needs at least one place like this", and part of its charm is, indeed, that it is open 24 hrs and that it has a wonderful mix of clientele-- one could write stories about them...
