The issue started with pump #6-7 where it was not registering with my credit card after multiple attempts to get the gas pump to work and following the 3 step instructions indicated which happen to be: remove pump, choose grade, and insert payment, respectively. The computer for that pump did not recognize tap pay so it wasn't an option. I inserted my card with a chip and still nothing (tried it again a couple of times just to see...still nothing). I drive over to the next few pumps and am at pump #8-9 (the pumps are connected back to back). Again, I go through the same steps indicated, but notice my credit card is not read by the tap pay, so I insert the credit card. I noticed, this time, my card did not go all the way in like at the previous pump. I'm thinking it was either jammed or someone put a card skimmer on. The employee there did not seem to care. It was around 3:30AM, but that is the shift he is working so I'm not sure if he just didn't care or dismissed what I shared because he genuinely thought everything was fine. He said people have been using those links all night...well, a lot of people shop all throughout the day, but someone can just quickly hook on a skimmer and sneakily remove it just as fast. There should be some loss prevention training or something. He did offer to have my pay inside, but again, the other concerns were not addressed. Saved the receipt and noted everything in case there are fraudulent charges.

I…read morewent into the store this evening to get my lotto tickets (slips already filled out) for the remainder of the month and do some other shopping. I did the lotto tickets first, since I was going to use credit for the other things. I handed Gerry my 4 slips, which he puts the first one into the machine (a Powerball with Power Play and Double Play selected on the slip). The machine questions him if Double Play should be selected, which he asks me. I reply yes, it's selected on the slip. He looks blankly at me and asks again. So, I again say "yes, it's selected on the slip" louder thinking he didn't hear me. He then states, "I guess not". So, now I have a ticket without Double Play selected for 6 draws; all because your new hire Gerry is too incompetent to A) look at the slip in his hand and see Double Play selected. B) Understand "Yes, it's selected on the slip" to mean Yes, I wanted it selected. I think requested my slips back, which he ignored and continued to put them into the machine. If he hadn't been looking directly at me the second time, I said "Yes", it would be possible he is just hard of hearing; but given he was looking at me when I told him "Yes" and still did the complete opposite, it's clear he's just incompetent. How do you mess up putting a pre-filled out slip of paper into a machine? If I hadn't picked the numbers, I would have just walked out. And yes, I could have had the resulting incorrect ticket cancelled and redone, but if Gerry couldn't figure out that Double Play was selected on the slip; how would he have figured out how to cancel the ticket? If he's this incompetent at putting slips of paper into a machine, I can't imagine what else he'd screw up...I'd rather not find out!

Because they are in the major intersection at Sun City, the wait of left turn take a while. The exit also not quite convenient because you have turn into local street the make the U turn to get to Main Street. Gas here is average and in the middle price range. But they got a lot customer because not gas station between Ellenton and Sun City. I would go across the street of dunkin donut for cleaner bathroom if I have to use it.

While you may still be able to pump gas, pay inside or outside and shop for "gas station munchies", you can also indulge in some Jeremiah's Italian Ice AND Capitol Tacos (both located in the inside). It seems there may be a pizza place plotting to come next as there is a stone fire or wood fire grill in the open space. Can't wait to find out. The Capitol Taco's menu is modified, it does not have your shrimp options, but it does still offer breakfast tacos and other proteins. I usually stop by for Jeremiah's, because I always have a sweet tooth.
