I tried a few items and everything really impressed me. It reminded me of the foods I ate in Japan or Korea. I honestly could not tell the difference! Personally, i loved the classic king katsu and the garlic pork belly bulgogi. Those dishes were exceptionally delicious. The king katsu was massive and good enough for 3 people. I also tried the beef tonkatsu and cooking that on a grill was really fun and delicious. They also have a large variety of specialty donuts, cakes and macaroons. I loved the earl grey donut so much and its the only place i know that has this flavour! The donuts were soft and filled with delicous flavoured cream that did not feel heavy at all. They have cakes as well and I love red velvet cakes. They version was actually not sweet at all and i loved it! A must when in red deer. It is just 5 minutes off the highway so its perfect for a little stop if driving between edmonton and calgary!

Service was super slow and it takes 30min for food once it's ordered. Some menu item not available (curry) which was sad. I tried the Hire Katsu - meat was cooked perfectly but I found it just so greasy. Sides were lovely. Rice was fine. Boyfriend got the Assorted Katsu (pictures wrong in the menu!) Cheese Katsu was really good. Tons of baked goodies - loved the red beans once. Croissant was super moist and fresh too. Will be back for some baked goods but not the Katsu
