I eat at Wawa because it is good, cheap and convenient food. I remembered they had a turkey and gravy bowl you could get over stuffing and mashed potatoes. Service there is fast but now they have a mobile app so I ordered up two bowls but first a quick stop at Publix. When I got to Wawa the order had disappeared from my phone. Did I shop too long at Publix? The manager explained they were out of stuffing but to compensate I could order any food item for FREE. That is the magic word for me, but rather than be greedy I just said I would take the hot turkey with all mashed. I could have skipped out of there but it was raining outside and I did not want to slip on my ass. My cousins came down last year from Wisconsin and we were meeting near Seaworld so I said we were waiting at a table outside Wawa. They were looking for a restaurant but eventually found the gas station and were pleasantly surprised with the smoothies and pretzels. They liked that you can special order. Later I offered to take them out to eat but their family wanted to go back to Wawa before they took off. This is not fine dining but they are always having specials like the buy one get one sizzling breakfast sandwiches, dollar coffee and soft drinks. So I give them five stars for deals, healthy options like the breakfast bowls, fast and consistent items and quick service even with high volume.
