Not only did they test it themselves, but even after doing so they refused to exchange it until I began to wear on them. I also witnessed police vehicles there once - I found out later that apparently the clerk punched through a car window to get to a guy stealing a 12 pack. Good times. For one if your guy is running late you need to contact customer and let him know. Two you apologize at least and provide an estimated time of arrival. Three your hire another person to answer the phone and follow one and two. The guy finally showed up. No apology for running late but whatever. The tow in itself took forever for the guy to get car on truck. Not sure if this was a new person or he was just being paid by the hour. Never seen it take so long to tow a car. Never again. I will pay out of pocket if my insurance company has no other options next time.just one thing to add the guy who towed my car knowing the alternator might be bad rolled down my window and couldn't get it back up. Why do you need a window rolled down to tow a car?

VW USA contracts with Steadfast and Edge towing for roadside service…read more They were contacted after a tire blowout to have the car towed to a nearby dealership. This was at 10:40pm, and contact was made at 11:oopm via text. About every 15 minutes, another text was sent saying they were on way. At midnight, the last text informed the driver that they would NOT be coming and to leave the keys in the unlocked car's center console. This left a teenage girl alone in a parking lot at midnight in a strange city. Contacted them again at 4:40pm the following day to pick the car. Was informed the tow truck would be there at 6:30pm. Around 7:30pm we were informed the driver needed to get a windshield wiper and the would be on the way. An hour later, still no tow truck. No contact until I contacted VW USA and complained again. By this time the dealership is closed, so no repairs can be made. Nearly 20 hours later, still no truck, but might be on the way. Had VW USA send a tow truck from another town, so we'll see who gets there first. This company is worthless and put a young girl in a scary situation. Their advice to leave the keys in the unlocked car is irresponsible. If your insurance or roadside assistance company uses this company, refuse and demand anyone else. Update: Edge/Steadfast contacted the driver and said they were 32 minutes away and enroute. 50 minutes later the second tow truck finally appear and took care of the car. He also contacted my doc's office a couple of times to assist in getting the other one filled. He was empathetic and I could tell that he cared.
