Managed to get to this place over the weekend. Having tried this place I think we've tried pretty much every spot on the North Shore now that serves Acai bowls. This was a pretty good one. A good combination of ingredients in the bowl. Not too big a serving, but not too small a serving either. Super tasty! The bowl actually looked a bit on the small side to me when I got it. After eating it though, I felt more than sufficently filled. My daughter got the Berry Bliss Acai while I got the 'Ohana Luv Acai. My bowl had some kind of bright blue sauce on it. Wish I'd asked what made it blue. We both ordered drinks as well. My daughter had the 5 Moons Chai and I had the Healer. Whoa...they are quite heavy handed with using ginger in their drinks. I enjoyed my drink but I think there was too much ginger for my daughter's taste. It was like the kind of ginger drink that I sometimes boil at home when one of us gets sick and we need something to soothe our sore throat. Recommend the Acai Bowl. I'd be wary of the warm tonic drinks. Great if you like ginger! Uggghh, they took away free parking on Lonsdale Ave.! I had to park a bit further off just to find a one hour free parking spot.

I had wanted to pick up some smarties and they had those here as well. Stopped in and got 2 small slurpees (one was lychee and the other one was tarte I feel like it was lemon something) and a box of smarties and it was $4.40 USD (I didn't get a receipt so I am not sure what the price was CAD, I was just able to check my credit card statement). The store was clean, staff was friendly. We came across this store after walking from the downtown Costco to kill time before catching the train to the airport. I would come back to this location as the store was spacious and easy to maneuver in considering I had a child with me, a rolling suitcase and a back pack (previous 7-11 we were in was very narrow and difficult to navigate with no additional items with us).

The cheese curds did have some ooey gooeyness going for them which is always good to see. I'd have liked to have seen a lot more of both the cheese curds and the gravy though on my poutine. I think my daughter's plate of poutine had a bit more gravy than mine. Overall though, I feel that there could have been more of both the cheese curds and the gravy. Flavor was pretty good. I would definitely recommend ordering off the menu for something put together in house rather than getting something out of the case.
