Full disclosure - smoking, vaping, crack, Mary J (legal in Canada), acid, opioids, etcetera ain't my cup of tea & never indulged! I've seen the damage & for me - nope! If that's your fancy - no judgement from me! You do you, I'll do me! Lucky's Exotic Bodega sells everything non healthy - import candy, chocolate, cereal, vapes, chips ... think sugar, sugar & more sugar. Several competitors have opened up in Metro Vancouver to satisfy this sugar fix sweeping town. I've been invading LEB for a couple of years now & love the product. Import Cheetos, British Cadburys, European candy, various Mexican chips, Mamba chewies, Mirinda Strawberry pop out of Paris ... ok don't let me get started - I won't stop! See my other reviews for more pix. This marks the 4th location for LEB, so there's bound to be one close to your neighborhood - use the Google. This NorthVan location is smaller than the Hastings St (EastVan) & Knight+41st Ave locations. There's plenty shops & restaurants to check out on this high street part of Lonsdale Ave. Make time to spend at least a couple hours up here.

Recently I decided to come here to check this store out and to get some quick bite to eat, primarily because most restaurants don't opened at 9am. I ended up getting their dark cherry soda which costed about $1.70+ and a small box of their $5 chicken wings. The total was about $7.22. This little meal wasn't something to brag about, but it was definitely somewhat tasty for what it is. I've been here more than once and every time I come here, the employees that does greet me are generally pretty friendly. Verdict - this place is definitely not special at all but unless if you wanted a footlong from the 24 hour Subway shop about a block away from here, otherwise this place is definitely an okay place to check out if you have the midnight munchies or need a quick bite when there's no other place open nearby in the morning.

However, when the chicken was new at the store it was pretty good for the price. However, time went on I had to stop eating it as it was making me sick. I did not get sick that time but it's unfortunate that its not gotten better.

7-Eleven - One of their tiny pizza and a slurpee. And yes, that's a tiny bite mark on my pizza. Couldn't resist.

I abruptly notified staff of the mouse, and the cashier wanted me to "watch the mouse" while she was on the phone. I proceeded to tell her no I cannot do that, as the mouse was running around and she did not get off of the phone to tend to the rodent; rather she assumed a costumer would. While I was in shock, another customer walked into the store after I saw the rodent, and the cashier did not take action against the rodent and left it to roam the Market. The large rodent still may be there. I made sure to leave quickly to avoid contact with the specimen.

I arrived around 930am without a reservation and although it was pretty empty inside, most seats were reserved. Luckily they were able to squeeze me in before the next group came. There were a couple dishes I wanted to try and on the server's recommendation, I went for the lobster eggs benedict. It was served in a beautiful presentaiton of bright colours and a generous serving of lobster meat. The spring salad was the perfect side as it cut through the richness of the hollandaise and the perfectly poached runny egg. One of the previous reviews noted that the poached eggs in the shakshuka were overdone, which made me hesitant to consider that dish, but next time I might try that since the benedict eggs were perfectly cooked. Parking was super easy at the time of day, pay street parking in the surrounding blocks. Will definitely be back to try the other dishes!
