Midtown Villa Park is filled with nothing but some type of addict most of the customers coming in the store coming from that lounge next door to get their scratch offs and to buy a $1 bottle of rum to put inside their Coke at the Ardmore lounge next store to save $2.50but yet they're buying 10 scratch off tickets every 30 minutes.

They also have a huge variety of prepackaged food items in the freezer section. They have a whole aisle of bakery items including rusk (toasts), cake rusks, cookies and biscuits. Muhammad helped us at the meat counter and all during our shopping. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we wanted. We ordered chicken and beef cut up in various ways to make different dishes like bbq, kabobs, pilau and karahi's. ALL the meat was very fresh, lean and trimmed extremely well. To our amazement they minced the ground beef by hand with the clever to perfection! This store has everything you need for any and all your Pakistani and Indian kitchen needs!! Prices are very economical compared to the market. Shopping here won't break your pocketbook.

Today, I decided to go inside for a pick-up and wanted info about a couple vaccines and ask about a delayed prescription. At the pharmacy, Lydia took great care of me. She was polite, professional, and persistent. She was able to straighten out my account and found the eye drops that are in short supply. Phew! She set me up for two vaccines, even though I didn't have an appointment. I waited about three minutes at the clinic before I got my vaccines. Painless. Quick. ALWAYS CHECK THE DATES AT THIS STORE FOR BEER AND SODA…read more They get 3 stars because their craft beer selection is pretty good, but I've bought expensive craft beer from this store that was completely flat. Gotta check the dates on the cans. Thinking about buying a 4-pack from there without a canned date on the bottom? DON'T. You have no idea how long that beer has been there. That goes for soda too. They clearly don't check and don't care how old the products on their shelves and fridges are.

I went to pick up photos that I ordered online and I didn't realize I had them printed at the other location on Roosevelt. The employee was nice enough to call the other location to confirm my photos were there, which was so helpful and great customer service. On a separate occasion, I picked up a poster I ordered online. When I noticed a scratch, they immediately printed a new one for me on the spot.

This isn't a review for this particular location but for Walgreens in general…read more As a matter of corporate policy, it seems that the priority is to keep labor costs down at the expense of the customer. Why? Because every single time I shop at Walgreens I can't help but notice how annoying the checkout process is. There just never seems to be enough registers open and the lines aren't clear, which inevitably leads to conflict or friction with other patrons and wasted time. It's an unconscionable policy to ask their employees to keep themselves busy at all times because this necessarily impacts the customer in a negative way. Even when there are no other customers around I still end up wasting MY TIME at the register waiting for an employee to stop stocking/cleaning/organizing or whatever it is they happen to be doing at the moment to come tend to me. So Walgreens, are you asking me to put up with this hassle so you can save a few bucks on a cashier? Get lost. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
