Small non assuming cafe in the heart of York. They have a take- out window in the warm season…read more Today I ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches. They were substantially filled with cheese eggs and bacon and or sausage. I ordered chorizo on my sausage bagel sandwich. Everything is made to order. My sons said they really liked their sandwiches which were bacon egg and cheese on English. Most of the sandwiches are on the menu with homemade biscuit but we ordered with English muffin. They have ugly sticks and the first time we saw that was many years ago after moving to York. The sticks are made from buttermilk batter and come in differing sugary coatings. People love those and they sell out fast. St Joes is known for its benes. The little beignet dough balls. We have never had them, but customers were coming in and ordering a dozen at a time, so I feel like these are very popular here. They also have a great selection of coffees and lattes. Their prices are on par and reasonable. The staff were personable and friendly. There is a small area to sit inside although that fills up pretty quickly on a weekend. There is online ordering although, one of the staff told me they shut it down when they are really busy. Young people, old people (like me) all seemed to enjoy coming in here. I think St Joes has a large following and for good reason. I'll come again with my 13 yr old twins and try some of those benes soon. I'll let you know, but I am sure anything prepared in this place will be good. I would show a photo of our food but we ate it too fast!

Not much seating for how much traffic they get so you're better off getting it to go anyway. I had the egg and sausage sandwich and it was HUGE and very filling. Great flavors. Also had to try the Bennie's! So messy but so good. They offer different flavor dipping sauces - I chose maple cinnamon and it was really sweet but still really good. Drop Coffee was solid. Good flavor selection plus speciality coffees if you're looking for that instead. Highly recommend for a quick bite while you're on the road. Staff was friendly and as efficient as they could be considering the small space.

I'm a mom to 4-year-old twins, and medicine has been one of the hardest parts of parenting. I've never felt good about giving them over-the-counter cold meds--too many weird ingredients I can't pronounce, and they never seem to help much anyway. But finding natural remedies that actually work? That's been a whole other struggle. Every fall, I make my annual trip to Societe to stock up on my go-to teas: Throat Ease, Get Well, Breathe, Fever Break, Be Well Immuni Tea, and Digest Ease. The first five are always in my pantry. When my kids start sniffling or coughing, I don't even think twice--I make them a warm cup of tea. It's so much easier than fighting with them to take some nasty-tasting syrup that ends up all over their shirt or spit out halfway through. These teas work fast, they taste good, and I feel better knowing I'm helping their little bodies heal naturally. Now let me talk about Digest Ease, because this one... wow. If you've been through potty training, you know the constipation phase is brutal. My daughter was in so much pain, scared to go, crying, and I felt helpless. Doctors kept recommending milk of magnesia and other stuff that just didn't feel right. I tried everything--fiber, prune juice, homeopathic drops--and nothing gave her consistent relief. Digest Ease was the only thing that helped. It's gentle, it works fast, and it gave my daughter real relief without the drama. I've told every mom friend I know about it, and they've all had the same experience. If you're a parent who's tired of chemical-filled meds and just wants something safe, natural, and effective--these teas are it. They're not just products. They're part of how I care for my kids. I'll never go another season without them.
