This location every time I come here always has fresh hot and ready sandwiches made, fresh pizza, and fresh tornados. This location also has a lot of things that are cheaper than other stores for example I got two vitamin waters received 250 points and paid $2 for both my vitamin waters, I will continue to go to this gas station not only because of the friendly staff but this Speedway seems to be 5 if not 10 sense cheaper on gas in Livingston County.

I normally have the pleasure of speaking to one of the ladies while im in there but today it was Scott Bailey that was at the front counter. I told him what I wanted and proceeded to pay with my phone (Google pay) when he legit started yelling at me about how he won't complete my transaction with a phone and how it has to be with a card! No joke he made a complete spectical out of me in front of everyone in the store. I was polite and in no way shape or form deserved to be treated like that. Especially by a gas station attendant who is expected to provide positive customer service. If he did in fact want me to use my physical card, that would have been no problem, I simply asked if there was a certain reason as to why because I stop there everyday on my way to pontiac and have never had an issue. It's not what you say, its how you say it! After being yelled at by him for tapping my phone on the card reader (not knowing he wasn't allowing google pay) being made a spectical, and apologizing still saying sorry on my part for not knowing, he continued on talking to other customers about me as I walked to McDonald's to grab my mobile order. Then walking back through the store he yet again still was going in on me, legit right in front of my face! No one deserves to be treated like that and its a shame and embarrassing to be the target of such mean nasty comments for absolutely no reason at all! Then to have him continue on talking to others in the line after legit yelling at me for using Google pay is extremely unprofessional and unwarranted. Shame on you! I was humiliated and felt extremely uncomfortable walking through there the second time to leave with him still uttering comments as I walked out the door! I will never buy another thing from this store in my life! Never would I spend money at a place that allows people to treat others this way! Do your self a favor and steer clear of this place. Went there to buy gas. The card reader at the…read morepump was not working properly and before I knew that, I already swiped my card. When I went inside, the female clerk was socializing with a couple men inside. As I approached the counter, they all made me feel very uncomfortable. As, I began to explain my issue with the card reader, another man put a bunch of change on the counter. It smelled like alcohol and marijuana inside and since the man rudely took his turn before mine. I explained to the clerk that I felt unsafe and could I please have 20 on the pump and thank you. The clerk then came out after me yelling at me lunging towards me and told me that I was rude and that she didn't have to service me, well I already pumped my gas. She threw my money at me. I explained to her that I already pumped the gas and that could she please take the money, so I could go. She refused! I went inside to leave the money and to get a receipt and she refused me again. Then the men inside that she obviously was friends with started calling me names and they were very threatening. I called the police and went to my car to wait. When the officer came, she told him I was paid up. It was on my debit card. For the life of me, I do not understand why the clerk could not tell me this in the first place and why she had to go out of her way to have a confrontation with me that was unnecessary. Fact is, I shouldn't feel like my life is in danger or be harassed over $20 gas. Worst gas station employee ever. They do not deserve any stars, one star is being overly generous!!

They have since changed owners since I last visited, and had the opportunity to meet the new owners daughter who was working on bar that day. She is so friendly and makes a great macchiato! I used to be a barista for a few years and have since become an at home espresso enthusiast. This cafe produces delicious, quality espresso made with care. Quiet, clean, and cozy.
