When I get inside my complete order is not ready and while I am waiting a man says that he has been waiting for his Frappuccino for 20 minutes. All this time the Frappuccino was at the station where they make the drinks but they got his drink wrong. They then made him the correct drink and he went on his way. While I was waiting for my food items the board said my order was completed yet nothing was on the counter and no name was called. After this I did receive one food item but not the other, so I go up to the ordering counter to see what happened. The guy at the drive through window looked like he was doing nothing and looked reluctant to come to the ordering counter, but he did come. When he did, I explained to him I hadn't received my food item and it turns out they hadn't even started on making it. After a few more minutes I did receive all of my items. I was waiting on my order for a total of 37 minutes. Also, when calling out the names on the orders they were so quiet only the person next to them would be able to hear them, except Soph. Soph( I think her name was) was loud enough so you could actually hear her and looked like she was working fast trying to get orders to people unlike the rest of the employees I saw.

I stopped to pick up breakfast for my family this morning, and apparently we also received a…read morecomplimentary lesson in creative interpretations of menu descriptions. First up was my nephew's TOASTED grilled cheese on sourdough. I emphasize "toasted" because evidently that word is open to interpretation. One side of ONE piece of bread had actually encountered the toaster. The bottom piece apparently opted out entirely, leaving him with a grilled cheese that was half toasted and half soggy bread. Perhaps the toaster was only working part-time today. Then we moved on to the "filled" donuts my niece and I ordered. While putting the donuts on plates with freshly washed hands, I noticed the filled donuts weighed suspiciously close to the regular ones. Naturally, curiosity took over, so we performed a very scientific kitchen-counter autopsy on both the jelly-filled and Boston cream. Mystery solved. Each contained approximately one bite's worth of filling. Not one bite per half. One bite in the ENTIRE donut. Apparently the filling is more of a garnish than an actual ingredient. Maybe "donut with a brief appearance by jelly" would be a more accurate menu description. Finally, I ordered a pumpkin drink that had exactly zero detectable pumpkin flavor. Thinking maybe my taste buds were the problem, I conducted another highly scientific experiment and handed it to four other adults without telling them what flavor it was supposed to be. Not one person said pumpkin. Not even close. So either all five of us simultaneously lost the ability to taste pumpkin, or the pumpkin forgot to show up for work this morning. One disappointing item can happen. Four of the six different items in the same order starts to feel less like an accident and more like quality control took the morning off. I'm not expecting Michelin-starred cuisine from a breakfast run. I would, however, appreciate toasted food being toasted, filled donuts actually being filled, and pumpkin drinks containing enough pumpkin flavor that five adults don't need to hold a focus group to figure out what we're drinking.
