I am specifically speaking of Ali who works the register each and every time I come in. Doesn't this guy ever get a day off? Seriously, Ali is ALWAYS there and most of his customers are on a first name basis with him; he's a really great guy. As far as the store itself, it is always kept neat and tidy and I have never had a problem with how the place is maintained. When it comes to the Slurpee machine, I don't know what it is, but the Slurpees from this 7-11 just seem to be better than others. It is a thicker Slurpee than the "airy" ones that can be had at the other location right down the road. In addition, the pretzels at this place are far better than at other spots and they are always fresh. As long as Ali is working and the Slurpees and pretzels stay the same, this is the only 7-11 for me while in the area.

The guy working behind the counter was pleasant and knowledgeable about their coffee offering which comes from Homestead Coffee Roasters of Upper Black Eddy. Their drink menu consists of hot/cold coffee, tea, lattes, and espresso based drinks. I tried the drip coffee and would highly recommend it. It is a private label version of Homesteads Darkness - dark & bold with notes of rich, smokey chocolate. I enjoyed the dark roast, rich chocolate and its bold full body. The cortado and espresso I had were ok. I found them to be a little too bitter, but there was a strong roasted earthiness flavor that I liked. On a return trip I'll have to try their Vietnamese coffee. Food wise I've had the sausage egg and cheese on a bagel and a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. They are simple and decent sized with simple folded egg patties and cheddar cheese on average bagels. The sausage had a little spicy kick and the bacon was pretty tasty (NOTE: they do offer pork roll as an option). I was given some hot sauce packets to go. You can also get sandwiches on a croissant. The rest of the menu is simple - toasts, sandwiches, salads, some items for the kids. They do sell their private label coffee beans in retail bags and will grind them for you.
