We came in about five minutes after a tour had left but they helped us join that tour so that we wouldn't have to wait an hour. We started by learning about the ingredients in beer and did a hop smell test. After we were walked through the actual brewing process. Super cool and informative! The end was a tasting which included a demonstration into how judges actually appraise the quality of beer. Super cool, and our guide was very fun. All around great way to spend an hour in Boston, and you can go to the tasting room after if you want to try even more of their beer - this Sam Adams does their R&D so you can actually taste some of the hundreds of beers that will never make it onto the market!
