This station sells lottery tickets and beer plus all the usual snacks and drinks that you've come to expect from the ubiquitous 7-Eleven chain. Yep, there's a Slurpee machine in there and the doo-dad with the rolling hot dogs and taquitos. Easy to access from I-77 and if you follow the signs properly, you can get onto either I-77 or I-485 from here easily. If you can hold out another TWO miles, continue down I-77 to Carowinds Blvd which is across the border into South Carolina. South Carolina state gas tax is 18 cents lower than North Carolina, so on a typical 12 gallon fill up, you're saving about two dollars.
