Ah Buc-ee's. Word…read moreto the wise, prepare to spend some time - this is not the "quick stop" gas station trip. I got lost inside. This Buc-ee's is insanely large and I know it's not the largest in the chain. They have everything you could ever want and more from freshly made food, preserved foods, souvenirs, kitschy things you'd find at a cracker barrel or gift shop, and then what you'd expect from a gas station. Apparently, I fudged by getting the sausage on a stick wrapped in a tortilla. The go-to move is supposed to be to get anything brisket. Rookie mistake on my behalf. I did manage to snag a caramel fudge that I did not regret however! The sausage was rubber and beyond dry. I felt like I was chewing an old balloon and the BBQ sauce didn't help. *This was my fault for not knowing better since they sit out. The bathrooms are super clean. The doors are sealed on the sides with privacy! If you need an OTC medication chances are they have it and it's really affordable compared to CVS or something.

I've been to other Buc-ee's before, this one doesn't seem that big but still has everything you want and crave for! The jerky station lets you sample the jerky prior to buying them. My family was so happy that they got to try everything and they eventually bought 7 different flavors! The lemon pepper and Steakhouse was my favorite flavor of the day! You can never go wrong with their brisket sandwiches and the freshly made chips! They also freshly slice the brisket if you order at least one pound of meat. One challenge we faced was that they overcharged us for additional pound of meat. At first, we were super frustrated because we could not call them to resolve the issue. Also, we were far away from Buc-ee's by then and there is no way we could prove that we did not ate those item. Eventually, we send Buc-ee's an email and they were able to check through video footage that they indeed overcharged us. They did this in less than a day and they were super professional about this matter. It turned from a situation full of frustration to relief. I will definitely bring my other friends and family over again in the future!

I was running errands in the area and wanted a quick - really quick - bite to eat. I thought this…read moreupscale convenience store might be a good option. I'd stopped in once for beer and knew it was pricey, but locally owned convenience stores are typically pricey. And I know the rent here must be hefty, so... I get it. It's a nice little store - well stocked with impressive variety. Mind you, they don't have much in the way of meals to-go, but that wasn't too surprising. I think they're catering to locals by having an excellent wine selection, a respectable beer selection, and a good to very good selection of general food groceries. The store was very clean. After deciding that a pre-packaged, mass-produced sandwich sounded awful, I pieced together a fun on-the-road meal of crackers and cheese. They had 5 varieties of Triscuits, which was a pleasant surprise, and I settled on the smoked gouda. Good choice - rich, flavorful, salty. Instead of a block of cheese, I bought two cheese sticks (I know, I know) to eat with my Triscuits. It actually made for a yummy and healthy on-the-fly meal. The lady running the store had the air of being the owner, but I'm not sure. She was on the phone the whole time, speaking what turned out to be German. She did pause long enough to talk to me when I was ready to check out, but she didn't acknowledge me otherwise the entire time I was there. And I was there longer than planned since Yelp was in serious need of some pics of this place... So minus one star for lack of customer service. When you pay a notable premium for a locally owned, high-end food mart like this, it'd be nice to be acknowledged. $5 for the Triscuits and cheese sticks were $1 each. $7 for a very quick, healthy meal with delicious Triscuits left over. Pricey? Very. But that wasn't surprising. A well-stocked mini-grocery store in a high-rent area of town is there for convenience, and you pay for convenience. Period. But at least it comes with selection and covers a lot of bases in a small space.

I did not appreciate the customer service and will not return ever again and I will share my experience in social media for people to be aware. My advise is for the owners to make sure their employees act professionally to avoid costing them money.

On the upside, as the building was being re-staffed, so was this little cafeteria. They stock it with the simple items for a small cafeteria and now they are starting to carry things for the gluten free, vegetarian, and some other special needs food related groups. I like that! They are very attentive, and polite. The place is clean. They also do catering, but you have to get them to email you their menu. Here is the address to ask for a menu: Bistro400@gmail.com They have sandwiches, wraps, salads, hot lunches. I've tried their chicken and mexican dishes, not bad. I really like they are trying and are listening to the customer's needs, it's a big plus in my book. Keep up the great work!

The place is called the Bistro not Boondoggles. The owners are cheap and will nickel and dime you for everything. They don't change the oil often. You can always tell when they dont change their grease because it smells bad on the whole first floor. You can also tell by walking in there for one second and walking out smelling grease all day. The smells sticks with you. I hate coming in here and I have stopped coming in because I don't want to smell like grease for the whole day. It makes me want to throw up. Their menu is ridiculous. They are trying way too hard to attract customers by exaggerating everything they offer. "freshly cracked eggs" "freshly made omelet" that doesnt sound convincing to me. Just say fresh eggs, we get it. Their dishes are all made up of left over ingredients. They try too hard to make it healthy by throwing in veggies in dishes that don't need to have veggies. Stir fry chicken pasta is not even any culinary dish. It's made up of thawed out frozen veggies, stir fried with chicken and they throw in alfredo sauce with pasta. Have you ever had chicken alfredo with carrots and broccoli? No, that is not how the dish is suppose to be. So gross! Cereal and milk is $4 because they don't give you free milk for your cereal like some places. They charge a fifty cents fee if your amount is under $3 on the card but they don't tell you that. The sign is also very small near the register. I have stopped coming in and rather go out for lunch. Portions are inconsistent. If you order meat with your biscuit and gravy, they usually give you two piece of sausages or bacon. But if you order turkey bacon, you only get one strip. I asked why I only got one strip and the owner told me because it cost more.
