It always has been very clean and busy. Things are set up easy to self-serve. I'm not too keen on their pizza, but the made-to-order stuff is always good. This is my go-to place for leaded gas for the mower. The next closest spot is near Kelly Park and those gas tanks are very old. Here, I know they were installed not long ago, brand new. Be particularly situationally aware at night as there have been the need for arrests, overdoses have taken place, and loud people, angry at invisible entities and the usual visible customers. They have security on site at darktime.

Publix definitely puts an emphasis on customer service and it definitely makes a difference. Publix is probably the most successful supermarket chain in Florida and with good reason. They offer that great customer service that I mentioned in the paragraph above, they have some great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals every week, and no review of Publix would be complete without mentioning their subs from their deli (affectionately known as "Pub subs"). Publix makes a great sub and my go-to subs are either their Italian or their roast beef and cheese. Both are great choices and I would recommend either of them. My daughter loves their chicken tender sub. All in all, I would definitely recommend here.

The place itself has five parking spots, six with the disabled (?) parking spot and was very clean both inside and out. Theres all kinds of specials and 40 cents off per gallon if you join their program which feels like a solid deal considering the prices of everything these days. Also, and this is random, they had some Bluey plushies which is sure to please my nieces when I'm Able to gift it to them so that's cool. Very happy with the experience here

Winn-Dixie has done an admirable job of turning itself around these last couple of years. When I…read morefirst moved to Florida back in 2001, Winn-Dixie was probably my go-to supermarket. Back then, the big supermarkets were Winn-Dixie, Publix and Albertson's. Well, Albertson's has pretty much disappeared from Florida and at one point, Winn-Dixie slid into a pretty significant decline. The saddest decline, at least for me, was their meat department. For a supermarket that once proudly called themselves the "Beef People," Winn-Dixie started relying on cheaper grades of beef, specifically meat that was inspected by the USDA, but not graded. This meat is very cheap and in my opinion, not worth buying. Well, Winn-Dixie finally took notice and focused on changing themselves for the better and started making changes for the better. The best thing for me was the changes in the meat department and their ficus on USDA Choice grade meat. They still have that inferior meat, but the emphasis seems to be the USDA Choice meat. The staff is friendly and it seems even the supermarkets are getting a face-lift and modernizing themselves and cleaning up. The vibe makes for a better supermarket shopping experience. All in all, Winn-Dixie has earned my recommendation again.
