The coffee here is always fresh and is kept warm in the pump style carafe's as opposed to the glass coffee pots that tend to burn the coffee if it should sit for more than 10 minutes. Aside from the coffee and such they also have a nearly full service deli where you can pick up a sandwich and an array of breakfast sandwiches that are freshly made and not in some wrappers. Actually their egg sandwiches are quite good. As for their gas portion the prices are reflective of the over inflation that we'll be paying at the pumps but that's for another forum to be vented. The parking here is ample and the inside and out are kept clean. Overall a reliable spot for coffee and some gas.

AND - after regularly coming here the attendant told me I should get a "frequent coffee card", or whatever its called. Every six cups of coffee, I get a free one. AND he punched my card for the coffees I had all week. AND they give you a free bottle of water with a large coffee (which I don't drink, its that cheap-o weird spring water, I just save it in my fridge for guests.) Did I mention they have a great coffee bar? My morning gym companions are a lot happier now that I come here first. Oh, I think you can get gas here, but its a little pricey. Go a half mile up the block to hess and you won't have to pay an addition 10 cents a gallon when you use your debit card.

This shop is located at the East end of Jericho Turnpike in Mineola in "The Crossings" shopping center. A reasonable size parking lot that tends to fill up quickly but I have never had an issue getting a spot close to the market. It's an easy in and out to Jericho Turnpike. North Shore Farms is an amazing supermarket. They are not the biggest but they certainly pack a big punch. I truly do not know where to start. They have so many food services available to the public. I want to start with their AMAZING bakery. The best bread in NYS! They make all kinds of "designer breads and rolls" including their bacon and egg baked into a flat bread. Pizzas, meat breads and any other items. If you can think about it, it's probably there. They have custom meat cutting as well as a very well stocked meat isle. Their seafood department is top notch. They have everything and you can always count on the fact that it's fresh. They also have a vast amount of prepared dishes that just need to be cooked or heated up. The deli area is also amazing.... They have their own NSF meats as well as Boar's Head and other specialty brands. The 'fresh soup' area sits right by the deli counter. Plenty of fresh vegetables and cheeses. The dairy selection is also quite extensive. They have a fantastic sushi section. It would not be fair to write about NSF and not mention their amazing team here. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. There are just not enough good things to say about NSF. All their stores follow the same model so you always know what to expect... EXCELLENCE! Kudo's to the team at North Shore Farms.

Although North Shore Farms tends to be more on the pricey side, they do offer some gourmet grocery items; along with regular grocery items. They also have a great butcher dept. They have so many varieties of baked goods (especially bread), and they all looks (& smell) delicious! My absolute favorite item is their Cranberry Raisin Walnut Rolls @ 75¢ each. They're huge, minimally sweet, and sooooo satisfying! Extra delicious when toasted with butter! My 2nd fave item is their Challah Raisin Rolls @ 99¢ each. But you really can't go wrong with any of their fresh bakery items! Note: be prepared for long lines if you come for Bakery items during holidays. But it will be worth the wait. This Bakery is worth 5+ Stars!

I've known been three times since they've opened (they've been open for all of 5 days. I hope the staff stay helpful and friendly and not just because it's brand new because truly it makes such a difference. Today a man named Kenny helped me out, he was such a delight. I bought a handful of things worth trying, Chopped liver: you're probably thinking, ew I'll pass...not for everyone I know. But it's delicious!! Herring in Cream sauce: spectacular, so light and refreshing, and the fish itself was tender, not chewy in the slightest, I'll be going back for more Eggplant meatball: good, not as good as my Zia's though Chicken cutlets: SO good, as always Fried eggplant: delicious thing and crispy Fresh mozzarella: they make fresh mozzarella daily...enough said Italian tripe: I have an adventurous palette. My family makes this dish and I was curious to try it, I was pleasantly surprised - and I like that it's in fra diavolo sauce, the kick is really nice Fig and cookie dough gelato: buy these Anyway I can go on and on, the store is clean, organized, and it reminds me of Italy. I'll be going here weekly!
