Owners Paul (the talented chef) and Kate bring such a personal touch to everything--they clearly care deeply about their customers and stopped by our table to chat, ensuring everything was perfect. Their genuine hospitality made the visit extra special. The food itself is outstanding. Everything is truly farm-to-table, with the restaurant sourcing all of its fresh ingredients directly from local farmers. You can taste the difference in every bite--the vibrant flavors, incredible freshness, and quality that only comes from supporting nearby producers. I especially loved their great specialty coffees, which paired beautifully with the seasonal dishes and breakfast/lunch offerings. The plates were exceptional, highlighting the best of what our region has to offer. You could buy 2 dozen donuts here and be satisfied for a week but still have spent less than you normally would in a day. I guess it doesn't hurt that the food is sublime (worth mentioning many times). The place is great if you're an LaTech student. It's situated to the southeast of the BME/IfM building and basically right behind Davidson Hall, so even though it's a bit tucked away, it's still accessible. The people inside are really nice. Keep in mind, however, they're only open until noon.
