Slowest 7 brew ever, super busy day for 7 brews and theirs only 1 cashier for both lanes combined. I waited 30-40 minutes just to finally grab my drink.

Very pleasantly surprised with this drive through coffee shop! 4.5/5! When I visit again if I have as good an experience as the first time I'll update and round up. I pulled through at around 1:30 a week or two ago looking for a refreshment. There was no one in line so I was able to pull right up. Maybe I missed something, but I never saw an actual physical menu anywhere. There were signs where you could scan a QR code and that's fine if there's a line to wait in but a little awkward if not - or if you don't have/can't use a smartphone. There were also a couple of specials written on the window near where the staff members were taking orders. Luckily, I was greeted by an absolutely sweetheart of an employee - I wanna say her name was Madison - who was so kind and helpful! Since there was no one behind me in line I was able to Google and pull up the menu and take a moment to look it over. Madison was also happy to provide recommendations and lots of great info about their products and specials. She also got me set up with their rewards/membership. Getting points seems easy and so far the notifications have been very minimal and not annoying. I wound up ordering a medium iced German Chocolate original. They have calorie info posted which is nice (though also a little ouch haha). I don't remember the exact price but it was definitely less than $6 which is really pretty good for the size and quality of the drink. One small disclaimer is this definitely seems to be a place for people who like their coffee drinks sweet. That's perfect for me (big fan of caffeine and dessert in a cup), but just something to be aware of. Their menu says they can customize sweetness though, so maybe you can make it to your liking if sweet drinks aren't your thing. Anyway, I loved the German chocolate! You could really taste the coconut AND the chocolate. It was delicious and pepped me right up and was perfectly cool on a hot day. I look forward to visiting again and trying other drinks or returning to the German chocolate. Kudos for the outstanding service, competitive price, and yummy drink!

I finally had the time to swoop in here and give their coffee a try. I'm very happy to see they can adjust sweetness levels and for those who don't like diabetes, I recommend cutting it in half. For me a medium, with an extra shot and half the sweetness made the perfect coffee. They also have nondairy milk options. I tried the cinnamon roll, and I would order it again.

I visit this city a lot and am always dismayed by the lack of good coffee shops. Coworkers to me, the people of Huntsville are not coffee drinkers!!What!!! That cannot be true!! I came upon Seven Brew and was absolutely delighted by the variety and quality of their coffee drinks. Great drive through service, scan their QR code posted everywhere for their menu, service was super fast and very friendly. I love indie coffee shops like this. Their mantra... cultivate kindness, yup they delivered.

I walked in a little past 1pm, having studied the chalkboard outside with a delightful-sounding selection of spring specials. As I'm ordering, the barista and I alike see another group walk in. And another. And another-- I'm not seeing anyone else in the rather small physical establishment, and as a former barista am beginning to sweat a bit for this Greenroom employee and all of the orders he is about to have to deal with, seemingly by himself (cue the cheerful chime announcing more customers, and more customers). As I wait for my order, grateful to be the first in this long line, I sit to casually read a book and take my opportunity to observe my fellow patrons of this fine little spot. I hear the barista asking customers if they're okay with waiting, and he begins to ask customers if they're okay with waiting a minute for their orders. I'm content, as I have no urgent arrangements, and the now plastic-gloved barista comes up to me, informing me that they have no lime to garnish the avocado toast I've ordered and asking if that was okay. I assert as much and he returns to the line; I think to myself that he could have saved the time and not told me and I wouldn't have known the difference, but I'm pleased with his attention to detail. I get my to-go box of avocado toast with an egg and am pleased to open it and try a bite. I feel that it could have done with red pepper flakes (my favorite), but the everything bagel seasoning added a nice texture and the overall flavor profile was delightfully savory. As for my drink, which came later, it was the Good Riddance: a vanilla cold brew with lime pie cold foam (which lived up to the name tremendously). It also had what I believe to be graham cracker or pie crust crumbles on the top that were delightful! The drink was delicious and perfect for the spring weather. I sit upstairs as I always do, but specifically on the patio where I can see all of MidCity and the surrounding businesses. There's nonintrusive and enjoyable music presumably coming from the Camp itself? After an hour or so of enjoying my spoils, I return to the counter below to see if the barista is still there now that the rush is over. He is now accompanied by another coworker, blessedly, and I learn that his name is Caleb. We chat for a few moments and I introduce myself before leaving, but not before taking another picture of all the event calendars for the week and month. Now I'm positively fueled for my afternoon and grateful for the relaxed atmosphere. (Thanks for reading this far if you did, and shoutout again to Caleb for doing his job tremendously! He informed me that he enjoys a good rush of customers, and I replied that I would have cried to have been in the situation that he handled with great poise and dedication. The great service alongside the excellent product left me wanting to return quickly!)

The breakfast sandwiches and BLT are decently executed, but I'm REALLY not a fan of their bagels. Their bread (particularly the baguette) is fantastic, though. Note: it sells out quickly. You can still pick up your to-go order without having to deal with people. They now have a cute bookshop inside. They make their own cream cheese! Cons: If I'm paying $1.50 for an avocado add on, PLEASE don't let it be oxidized and brown and gross. This makes me sad. Parking is still a nightmare. See above about the bagels. I'm prepared for the hate I'm about to get, but I prefer Bruegger's...which is sad, as I'm sure they're produced and come in frozen. Prices have gone up, but that's to be expected. I would love, however, the option to not add on a side for less moolah. I don't want their straight from the bag chips, random baby carrots, or (somewhat icky) fruit. Depending on the timing, you may be able to get a seat. Or you may be fighting a soccer mom with 4 screaming toddlers just to pick up a to go order. Still a fan, but know what you're getting.

Getting new tires in Athens the other week, I (sadly) noticed an obituary on their bulletin board for Cheryl Prince Sendowski who owned the coffee shoppe from 1998 until it was sold in 2013. This was one spot my Birthday Club group met at in the late 80s and early 90s. We enjoyed their simplistic sandwiches and iced teas. I'm not a coffee snob by any stretch, and their coffee doesn't evoke great memories for me; however, I do recall it being "fair trade," even back then. The sandwiches were good, the place was nice to relax in, and the back patio was even more eclectic with various statuary and just "stuff" hanging from the fence. Sandwiches were nothing you can't make at home, but they were good, edible, quick and filling! The community bulletin board was always clustered with fliers and business cards for music lessons, missing pets, and pressure washers. It's a local's place for locals and had one regular, Mike Maples who was conferred with the title "Mayor" of Ole Town Coffee. The gazebo out front is quaint to sit in. Do know parking is tight. It's in the Research Park area, not too far off from University Drive. It's tucked away a little bit, next to the new Viet Crispwich restaurant, but on the bright side there's plentiful parking. The vibes are pretty much immaculate here. Bright, cheerful, airy, but also private if you need -- there are several reclusive booths covered by archways, a perfect hidden away spot to work on a laptop or something. They have cute merchandise and even dedicated items and areas to keep little ones entertained. There's seating indoors and a couple of patio tables and chairs outside too. Service was pleasant enough. We didn't chat much but I was greeted and smiled at and my beverage was ready in a timely manner, so that's all you really need. The menu has coffee classics and then a few seasonal specials. There's matcha too, at least currently. There are supposed to be some baked goods for snackage, but when I visited at about 10:30 on Monday, they only had a few cookies and a brownie. I was hoping for something more in the realm of banana bread or a muffin, but they were wiped out. Maybe Monday is a restock day. They're only open til 2 PM, so definitely a morning/early afternoon hangout only. I got an iced salted caramel latte to go, and I enjoyed it well enough. To me, I really didn't taste any salted caramel, but it was a good iced latte: rich, smooth, almost buttery, and not too bitter. Not as sweet as I'd like but that's often the case with what I consider more "serious" coffee places like this one. If you enjoy coffee, I think you'll like this coffee. It was certainly strong coffee, cause my husband said it was basically emanating off me when I got home. lol. Give them a try and don't forget to take a cute picture with their gorgeous mural!
