I typically head over to Starbucks and where I will still be loyal to them, if we are not near our favorite location, or my wife wants one of their lemonades, we have been coming to Dutch Bros. I will say, it is cheaper than a Starbucks. Prices are similar but for the same price I can get a much larger iced coffee. This location is brand new in the Hamlin area so definitely closer than the Clermont location we have been going to at times. Dutch Bros offers ice coffees, lattes, lemonades, energy drinks and more. They are known for their coffees but have recently been adding more food options. There is also almost always a special drinks of the season, the moment, secret menu item, etc. They do have an app and this location is now accepting orders through the app. This is so much easier personally. You can do all the customizations and actually see all the options. You can also "schedule" your order depending on how far you are. If we are headed here, we will order at home and schedule it for about 10-15 minutes. I will say their menu board at the location does not list everything and all the different customizations you can do. The app is better, plus you earn rewards and its free to sign up! You can walk up to the window but what is easier is to get in line, and their lines are unique. There are 2 sides, usually a "Broista" walking both sides to take your order. They will tell you which car to follow and will go back and forth so it's fair. If it is not super busy, you will order at the window. I am not a sweet coffee person so I am plain Joe. I prefer just a flat white, no added sugar, however my wife loves their special coffees. During the holidays, she always ordered the Ice Cookie butter iced coffee with holiday sprinkles. Yes they add sprinkles to some of their iced drinks! She also enjoys the Iced Latte Salted Caramel with whip cream and fat free milk or the Ice Lemonade Poppin boba berry lemonade. She is definitely a caramel fan. I do wish I enjoyed a sweeter coffee but I can tell you their actual coffee is great. Just black or a little bit of steamed milk and its perfect for me! Team members are called "Broistas" and I enjoy the play on name, they are always super friendly, laid back and always willing to chat with you. This is definitely a more laid back coffee spot! I highly recommend checking them out! We came on opening day and they gave out stickers and such. I would like to see some cups or merchandise like Starbucks sells. I think it would be nice to reuse cups as well, so maybe in the future. But in the meantime, give them a shot, they do have great coffee for the sweet and not so sweet fans!

However, Dutch Bros is becoming another favorite. This location is brand new and just opened in Winter Garden, in the Hamlin area. I was there on opening day and it was so fun, they were handing out magnets and stickers! I am super happy they opened up! You can order on the app and I suggest doing it that way. It is now functioning for this location. Once you get in line you kind of need to know what you want quickly and their menu is huge! There are so many options to create your own drinks! Their line is unique. There are 2 sides and usually a person walking both sides to take your order. When its not busy, you will order at the window. They do a great job of rotating cars back and forth between sides. They offer ice coffees, lattes, lemonades, energy drinks and more. They mostly have drinks but have been adding more food options. They also almost always have special drinks of the season, the moment, etc. I personally loved their Ice Cookie butter during Christmas and I hope it comes back. Currently I usually order the Iced Latte Salted Caramel with whip cream and fat free milk or the Ice Lemonade Poppin boba berry lemonade. The Ice Dutch Golden Eagle is also fantastic. If you use the app you can save your favorite drinks so you don't have to add all the customizations each time. I love this part! It makes it super easy to reorder. The app also lets you collect app stickers and you can earn points. I would recommend using the app and getting those points. My only issue is I wanted an unsweet ice tea, there is no option for that. I even tried to create my own, but it would not allow me to choose anything except slightly sweet. I had to order that in line. But besides that, no issues! Complete customization! The team members are always so amazing, if they are waiting for your drink, they will chat with you, they have such great energy. Always super friendly. We arrived and the 2 men working there were very friendly and helpful and felt as if they actually wanted to be there. The drink itself was very good as you were able to get the strawberry flavor but also not such a large dose of an earthy taste. I enjoy that personally. It was super refreshing and is great for such a hot day out in the sun. Once your drink some, it leaves you wanting to drink a bit more. I would definitely recommend and would not mind stopping back to try a new drink next time around!

They do share a bathroom with neighboring businesses, so I heard the barista tell someone to take the elevator to the second floor, just outside of their side door. I ordered from their summer menu. I had the S'more summer Latte and it was okay... it's hard to find a coffee shop that mixes their chocolate well with the espresso, so it gives an off taste that is not enjoyable. I didn't taste any of the graham cracker syrup, and the barista barely toasted the marshmallow foam on top... I'd seen other photos where the entire top is a nice, golden brown. Would I go back? Maybe. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing and I should go with a normal latte next time.
