The location is hidden, down a long street. Luckily I found it with my google maps! I found parking right in front of the entrance. I walked in and was overwhelmed how big the lobby was. It was also very clean and modern looking. I was the only one there so I was greeted right away by the woman at the desk. She was very friendly and offered her assistance. I informed her I was picking up concert tickets from 105.9. She stopped what she was doing and went to search for them. I was then given a form to fill out while she did her paperwork. She was approached by another employee about another task and she took care of that as well. I was given my tickets and she told me to enjoy and have a nice day. She was one of the friendliest people I have met in a while! I have visited another station to pick up tickets and the girl was the total opposite so this experience was refreshing. Thanks Big 105.9!

Just four months back Revolution 93.5FM would have been unquestionably 5 stars! For an EDM purist…read morelike myself who grew up going to warehouse raves, who despite being "in my 40's" still puts in for vacation during Miami Music Week and Ultra, this radio station was heaven! This WAS where you could get all the greats (Armin Van Buuren, Pete Tong, etc) and jam out any time of the day. Even when I snuck out for lunch I could still break out glowsticks and rage to any type of obscure trance (real stuff, not David Guetta!) Imagine my disgust when two months back I heard a Rihanna track followed by some nameless pop "star". Compound that disgust when my ears were assaulted by the trashy GT or JT or whatever who used to be on Power 96 along with his annoying "fake news" contest. Come to find out that they now employ a "96" alum and have taken themselves down to that level in order to reach a greater audience. To their credit, they still have some Pete Tong and they have their downtempo EDM "Detox" show, as well as a few classic trance tracks. However, I now find myself switching the dial away more often (yes, I listen to other types of music but there's a time and a place and a mood). I hope they do go back to pure trance, even if they have to go listener-supported.

Indeed, I've come across some of the best parks, hiking trails, boating, swimming locations, art and historical sites using Yelp, especially with those items considered matters of "Local Flavor." Not being much of a television viewer and not even knowing the channels of local stations, I resorted to Yelp. Sure enough, bingo! Up popped a couple reviews of this, NBC 6- WTVJ, which covered the event I wanted and to my delight, did a really good job of it. So, thank you Yelp. You've come through for me again.

Do you even care that ELLEN is on and we miss her guests? Like I said, I wish I had another option other than NBC6.

Dear Miami SunPost,…read more I hear that you may be closing your doors and that saddens me. Since 1999, you have been a local, independent paper, geared towards anything Miami and South Florida. I hope that you can keep it together, restructure, and move forward, because you are truly the epitome of the indie paper - free, local, and on point! Best wishes and Good luck! Regards, Sabrina*
