I recently visited Fifth Nail Lounge for a pedicure and a fill in, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. At this point, I am very big on customer service, especially when you are paying premium prices, and this visit just did not meet that standard. When I first walked in, I showed a picture for reference and was told to ask a nail tech for pricing because the person at the front did not know. That already felt a bit unorganized. I was then seated with a tech named Don. I explained my vision using a Pinterest photo, making it clear I was not asking for an exact replica, just a simple flower design inspired by it. Instead, what I received looked nothing like a flower. It honestly came out very unappealing and more like a random pattern than the design I asked for. After my service, I went ahead and paid at the register. While checking out, I calmly let the gentleman at the front know that I did not like the nail and asked if it could be redone. I did not have an attitude at all, I just wanted it corrected. After that, I was eventually seated with another nail tech. Before even getting to that point, the initial service already felt rushed. There was no real care taken during the fill in. The acrylic did not match my previous color, it was extremely thin, and nothing was checked for evenness. If I had not spoken up, my nails would have been uneven. It felt like everything was just rush, rush, rush, with no attention to detail and no effort to make sure the work was actually done properly. When I sat with the second tech, the experience did not improve. She quickly had an attitude, and it felt like there was defensiveness before I could even fully explain what I needed. I was not asking for anything complicated, just a simple flower design, and it still felt like there was no willingness to understand or accommodate. What stood out the most was the lack of customer service overall. There was little communication, no real effort to fix the issue in a positive way, and I felt rushed the entire time. As a paying customer, that is frustrating. Nail appointments are supposed to be enjoyable, not something that makes you feel like you are being pushed out of the chair. Overall, I did not feel valued as a customer and will not be returning. I truly hope to see improvement because experiences like this make it hard to keep supporting nail salons when the service does not match the price. read more

The service at this establishment was terrible! The technician was rude and did a horrible job. She kept looking at her phone. Did not speak to me and at the end, had me wash my hands and she just got up and left. When I came back to my seat, she never came back. Someone else said that I was done. Before I begin let me clarify I did not go to the 5th nail salon on Mt. Zion Blvd. The location where I received service in McDonough wasn't an option when I posted this review. My big toe nail cracked so I tried 5th Nail Lounge as it is close to my home. Upon entry the service was good. I explained my toe situation and it was looked at then I was seated for my pedi. I was offered a beverage and I received white wine. I opted for a deluxe pedi which should have been standard. Anyway, I didn't have on my glasses so I missed that the edges of the polish wasn't cleaned up and the cracked nail remained not even a little nail glue was applied. Why is it hard to find someone who can do SNS without making my nails look like chiclet gum stacked on top and a good calming pedicure! Ugh Back I go tomorrow to have the polish on my toes cleaned up. read more

I left extremely unsatisfied with my pedicure. I spent $50 and wasted 1 1/2 hours getting a pedicure that looked like a first grader did it. My toenails were not properly shaped after two attempts by two different nail techs. I left with slanted and crooked toenail. Also, the young lady at the front desk was rude after I expressed dissatisfaction with the services provided and stated that I would not be back. She responded "Thanks for trying us and laughed.. So if you are looking for piss poor service and performance then give them a try. read more

This was my second visit to 5th Nail Lounge in Morrow. I was excited to return, but to my surprise the service, atmosphere, and quality of work has drastically declined. I went on a Monday to try and avoid a long wait. I waited about 20 minutes for my nail service. While I waited, there were three children eating, drinking, and playing on one side of the waiting area. There were people talking loudly on their phone. Other customers also had guests who were not receiving any services taking up space and talking and playing around with them. It took another 20 minutes before anyone came to do my pedicure so I was sitting in cold water. When someone finally came over, she was rushing and cut my foot up. She cut it and it was bleeding. She kept going until I was like wait, you cut me and that hurt. She randomly sprayed some chemical from a spray bottle on it. I believe it was alcohol because it stung. The bleeding kept coming and she kept trying to spray it. I said no and tried to leave then she said let me hold it to stop the bleeding and continue. I asked for peroxide. None was available and she tried to spray it again. I also asked for tissue or something to wipe the blood from my foot and proceeded to go to the counter. Of course they charged me full price for the nails. I will never return to this place. Do not come if you want a relaxing environment, quality work, or caring service. read more

ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE ON MY LIFE! Yall know I don't leave bad reviews! I go in for a pedicure which has some unsanitary issues with the scrub coming out the same bowl using the same spoon to rub on your feet and legs for all clients. Drills and cuticle cutters not clean. You will get an infection. NOW FOR MY EYEBROW WAX THE LADY RIPPED OF MY NATURAL THICK BROWS. I CLEARLY ASKED FOR A CLEAN UP AND SAID DO NOT SHAPE! DO NOT SHAPE TO MY MICROBLADE. SHE NODDED HER HEAD YES WHILE OBVIOUSLY ON THE PHONE AND TEXTING. AFTER MY SECOND BROW I COULD FEEL ALL OF THE HAIR FROM MY BROW BEING REMOVED. You guys I'm pissed at the lack of professionalism. Her phone was more important than my service. The shop tried to offer a horrible tinting service that they don't even have examples they did before so no. Also the lady that did my brows did not wash her hands, nor was there a sterilizer for tools used throughout salon. I will be contacting the health department on this matter. In my many visits to this shop walking out extremely satisfied and then sometimes very dissatisfied but never made a comment never wrote a review but continued to support them because one they're in my local area and two I just wanted to support a new business in the area but after my exchange today with I suppose the owner Jackie is just totally unacceptable. I will not go back into this place because the customer service from her alone was enough to make me change my mind and not only that when I go into this shop I spend top dollar I do the high-end pedicures. I do the extra services that they offer and then I tip very nicely, so I'm very disappointed even after speaking with her over the phone, there was no apologies for her actions nor her tone and the way spoke to me when I ask her how long would be the wait she responded that "we just opened and you have to wait for my team to get here" well if you open at 10 AM and your team or technicians are not there they're already late because when you open your door at 10, your technicians should be ready to start serving the customers so that's a flaw on you. You need to have a better practice with your team or technicians and when you open those doors, they need to be there and ready to serve the customers so no, I will not be back and I'll let others choose if they want to support the shop or not but just be careful because Jackie is not a kind person.
