Me & my husband went in for basic cleaning & X-rays. I made sure they were in network with my insurance. The office staff is fine, the doctor is very full of himself but whatever he did push hard on getting sleep test and dealing with Cassandra was annoying to the point I backed out and decided I didn't want to do it anymore. Fast forward a couple weeks I get a bill for the balance my insurance didn't pay (all experienced doctors offices know how to bill correctly) well Pam kept telling me I need to pay and it is a balance due. I said that is illegal and called balance billing she wouldn't budge so I contacted my insurance and filed a quality of care form. Well during the investigation the dentist filed another bill to my insurance for fillings and other stuff all of which I never got done. So I called the dentist and said I never got work done and all of a sudden pam says I don't have a balance and it was an accident. All I have to say is this drama going back and forth with Pam and my insurance for over a month was annoying and stressful. All of this could've been avoided if Pam knew what she was doing. The billing lady/manager needs more training. I've never had an issue like this before with any other dental office. So if you want a headache with billing this is the perfect place for you. Im glad this back and forth is over with. Will not be coming back. read more

He had me do a sleep test and found that I have severe sleep apnea. I stop breathing at night and my brain doesn't get enough oxygen. He scanned my bite to make a retainer that slightly moves my jaw. Dr Qiu, his staff and his office environment are all impressive. The front office staff is knowledgeable, efficient and kind. The dental hygienist did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. On my 1st visit with Dr Qiu I bombarded him with an array of questions on orthodontics, endodontics, restorative dentistry and other concerns related to my dental health. He patiently addressed all of my concerns. I was especially impressed with his treatment plan for my front tooth with root absorption. It is possible it will save the tooth from a future root canal and or having to be extracted. It is obvious he is passionate about his work which includes the best interest of his patients. Before Dr. Dunker my dental visits played out like scene out of Final Destination or Saw. But after finding Dr. Dunker my fears have been put to rest and my grill is still chomping away. Gotta take good care of that grill, after all, I need it to keep eating at all the great spots I find here on Yelp. The office is located at the corner of Florence and Brookshire in the city of Downey. It's an orange-ish colored building. The office is always tidy and well kept. All the dental stations and rooms are also very clean and organized. There's a parking lot with quite a bit of spaces and I have yet to not find a spot. My first time there I didn't know much about how my insurance worked or what it covered Linda helped me and told me not to worry she found out all the information for me. I've been coming here for years and it's awesome! I never really enjoyed going to the dentist to be honest but this group right here is the absolute best dental group i've ever dealt with. Dr. Michael Duncker made my grille look sweet and my teeth were pretty horrible when i first started going i must admit (sorry doc, had to make you work for your money, lol). This man worked on getting my mouth right, bridges, putting a tooth where there wasn't, etc., and whatever it needed and now i catch myself smiling a lot more. The good doctor gave me my smile back, how 'bout that?! And then i get my teeth cleaned every six months by Loan or Letty and they're always very thorough.. The staff is really great too, very friendly, they are some cheerful people and have great follow-up - they're always very pleasant. I normally talk with Linda, she's a sweetheart but anyone you talk with is gonna give you excellent service. Dr. Duncker really knows how to pick a winning staff. Sally has been by the office a couple of times because we're right next door and she drops by with specials to offer so i think that's pretty cool. The office is clean and pleasant and they have a good positive vibe. Parking: They share parking with the medical group in the building so it can get pretty tight at times but across the street are tons of bank parking (wink, wink). That's all i'll say about that.
