I call and was told to wait 48 hours. I went to the office and had the worst customer service by Colby or Cody. Granted, I didn't have the warranty paperwork, but I was told they keep it on file, hence the reason they get your complete information. He was simple horrible and didn't seem to care. Do better with your employees.

Don't get mistaken that any of that is acceptable and don't be mistaken they will take care of you they don't honor any of their work. They charged me 700 hundred dollars to tint my new truck and they messed up all 6 windows through poor cutting and poor shrinking. When I brought back the windshield to have it redone they used a sharpie where it hadn't been cut right, on a 2024 truck... I came back to question the installer about a refund and he left said sharpies in my truck. Later that same day not 3 hours later I tried to talk to the owner about the absurdity of the tint peeling and he insisted I should have tinted it myself. Swearing up a storm of excuses about how I'm trying to get something out of nothing and I don't know anything about tint. This place is a joke I wouldn't recommend this place to a blind person solely on the fact that their tint doesn't reject heat like a any other name brand would.

As I was inquiring about service she was on the phone with her friend talking to them and me. She would walk away in the middle of our conversation, turned me off and I left. I'm sorry but if you want someone to spend $300+ dollars with your company the least you could do is be attentive to them. I even gave her the benefit of the doubt I came at 9am then went back around 11am and it was the same. Wouldn't recommend anyone to go here.

Jeremy the front desk guy ended up having them put a tint on much darker than the back! I realized this after I paid and went out to the truck. I went back in and said "I tell you what, if you make the rest of the windows match the front we'll call it good". I made the mistake of paying again without checking the work and came to find that there are now THREE different tints on my truck. Jeremy said the "the rear window must be made of something different" to explain the rear side and rear window difference. They are the pro's correct? This also doesn't explain how he messed up putting DARKER tint on the front, which got us in the mess entirely. Jeremy also said the owner would call me which, of course, he never did. Eventually I called Jeremy back only for him to tell me "there is no refund on the tint" and never responded back after I asked "Well what are we going to do about this?" Never called or texted. So I paid $410 For them to basically put whatever they wanted on my truck. Absolutely insane. They also never respond to the Better Business Bureau after I filed a complaint so BBB will now add this to their list of complaints about the company as well. BBB rates this company F by the way.

Our 3 ceiling fans & thermal/sunblock curtains along with our 18,000 BTU mini-split (HVAC) were working really hard to keep this room cool. Curtains had to stay closed during the day to keep the room cool. As soon as Solar Solutions installed the window tint to half of our sunroom, we could feel the difference. Now we can save money by setting the temperature higher and still be cool all day. Also, we were able to remove curtains to enjoy the view of our backyard. They were on time, friendly, professional, and fast. It was a one time expense that allows us to save money each month on our electric bill & enjoy our sunroom with family & friends for years to come.

Our original tint was starting to bubble so we were lured into this company by the Veteran owned title along with the random Christian paraphernalia in the office. We had the original tint removed and new tint applied. Car was left there all day and we were charged the most they quoted for removal and tinting. Upon pick up, we paid cash and were not given a receipt, only to be told to not use ammonia to clean the windows or roll the windows down for 24 hours. We noticed wetness from the application process and air bubbles here and there but chalked it off to the tint having to cure. One day while driving we noticed, as the sun was shining through, the back glass at the top where there are small round cut outs, the tint looks like there is either adhesive, soap residue, something stuck between the tint and glass that has never been there. We bought this car new and have never seen the window look this way since before the new tint job. We contacted Solar Solutions and were told we were in the system, to bring the car in to be retinted as the tint has a life long warranty. When we dropped the car off the guy taking the keys saw the problems and seemed as though the issue with the top of the tint should not be there. The car was left for 7 hours. Picked up the car along with a hand written paper receipt and noticed more air bubbles and the same situation to the top as before. Gave it a week or so to see if it had remedied itself. It had not. Air bubbles and just a mess of the top of the tint. Called Solar Solutions and one of the owners said bring it back and he would handle it personally. What a mistake! We would have been better off with the air bubbles and adhesive/soap residue problem. From the get go both owners, we assume as they never introduced themselves, addressed the tint claiming that was normal. Pretty strange how suddenly this is normal but was never mentioned on the initial phone call or the 2nd visit where they removed and applied new tint. Claimed they handle all of SLED's cars and they have this same situation. Not impressed at all. At any rate, to address the air bubbles they take the car into the shop and bring it back maybe ten minutes later. I notice a piece of tint hanging where before there was a two inch long air bubble where a defrost line is. I ask what it was (knowing they took a razor blade to my tint) and the owner accuses me of the damage he just did. I am completely in shock. He then demands I give him my keys so he can go take off the tint and refund me my money. After the treatment I received, of being accused of the damage this guy did, there was no way I was trusting them with my car again. They walked away from me saying, "have a good day." This was a Christmas gift to my wife. We would have been better off with some YouTube videos and a couple rolls of tint. Take heed of the reviews that are negative of this business. Of course the best job and best treatment can be given to the president or some hot shot with a corvette but what about the treatment to a nobody who can offer you nothing but their hard earned cash. If you want a couple of dishonest guys who don't stand behind their work, for a nobody from nowhere, this is the place to go.

Whatever you do, DO NOT LET SS&G install an awning for you if you own a brick veneer home. SS&G violated the SC residential building code, the Lexington County building permit code, and the SC LLR requirements when installing the awning on my home. I don't know what's worse, having the awning collapse onto my deck causing thousands of dollars of damage, the owner lying under oath to protect his negligence, or the service tech handing me a $2400 awning repair bill to cover the damage that they caused. What's amazing is that even after all this, the owner testified in court they still use the same process when installing their awnings onto a brick veneer home. Their process in this case involves drilling out the brick, inserting plastic anchors, foaming the anchor into the brick, and then inserting pieces of all-thread into the plastic anchors to hold the mounting brackets. In other words, their method provides no actual structural support for the awning. Even their own installation manual states that "Brackets are to mount into studs or rafters". If you permit SS&G to install your awning on the brick veneer of your home, it will only be a matter of time before the veneer fails and comes crashing down on whatever is below. I was lucky as their negligence only caused about $8k worth of damage to my home which can be repaired/replaced, but eventually, if they keep practicing this negligent method of installation someone WILL get hurt, or killed due to their construction ignorance. Don't expect SS&G to own up to their mistake either, as the owner actually told me, "I bought a used home with a used awning that we (SS&G) have no responsibility for". As a master electrician with over 30 years of experience in residential construction and the owner of an electrical contracting business, if I had someone contact me regarding work my company had performed and that work left them in a similar situation, I would be so embarrassed by my company's blatant negligence that I would do whatever it took to make it right. Sadly, this is not the case with SS&G. In my experience, instead of accepting responsibility for their negligence, they hid behind warranties and employed the "you're not my customer" defense. Are they legally correct? Probably. Are they morally correct? Absolutely not.
