Maintenance staff is very good; they are very prompt to any request and quite accessible for any follow-up needed. The place itself, while not luxurious, is quite decent. The skyline view from the top floors are exceptional and you won't have it much better anywhere else. The main issue with this place is the valet parking; it is just horrible. Just getting your vehicle on time is a pain, almost throughout our stay there, which was just over a year. Having to pay over $200 monthly for this type of service is horrendous. There is little accountability when they are late in getting your vehicle; they always chalk it up to staff shortage and being very busy with multiple requests for vehicles. The number of times I have been late to get to work because of their negligence is countless. Good luck to anyone who has to get to work on time every morning. I have spoken to people who were on the verge of leaving just because of issues with the valet parking. The worst part of this is....good luck getting any reimbursement for damages to your vehicle. During my stay, my vehicle was dented 3 separate times by their staff, twice my vehicle lights were left on overnight and my battery was dead, 1 time they blew my tire on a piece of metal when trying to park my vehicle. They reimbursed me to get new tire; however, all other previous times, there was no accountability, there were denials, excuses upon excuses and I was eventually left to bear the liability of things they caused. During my stay there, I have seen quite a number of incidences where tenant's vehicles have been damaged....it was a fairly regular occurrence. The other issue is, although tenants are told not to smoke in their units, this is obviously disobeyed, as the smell of marijuana and other narcotics is prevalent at various places across the building. The aforementioned issues were not the reasons we left; we really left because we bought a home in another State. Other than the issues we encountered, our overall experience was just okay, but certainly not a luxurious experience, far from it.

I can describe Ms. Kenisha as a very competent and responsible person and with my process very careful. She made a total difference so that everything worked according to my needs. After my contact was with Brian Bronson, cheerful, has a super smile and connected to the taking so objective and fast. All the employees who assist us daily in the lobby make a total difference. They are attentive and help a lot. Lastly I met yesterday Maritza Garzon, the general manager who was attentive and kind and professional . Jefferson Place is one in a million. It is well managed and a great place to live. In your unit…read moreyour neighbor above will never disturb your peace walking around or moving furniture. There is a layer of concrete between each floor that prevents sound traveling between floors. The walls are made of cement blocks that also help prevent sound conduction between units. Because of its construction Jefferson Place is also pretty much "fireproof." The units have 24 hour a day ventilation in kitchen, bathrooms and laundry areas which makes units always smell fresh. The grounds, halls, gym, party room, library, video room and children's play room are clean and well maintained by an excellent staff. Pets are allowed but are not allowed to disturb others. There is covered parking and some storage spaces. In each unit you'll find granite countertops, General Electric appliances, garbage disposal and a washer and dryer. Penthouse units come with a fireplace and other upgrades. Jefferson Place is at the quiet side of downtown away from the noisy traffic at the Ritz and Trump Towers but well within walking distance of theaters, 2 large malls and a multitude of restaurants. Parades go right past the front of the Residences of Jefferson Place several times a year. There is a 24 hour CVS right across the street making this an ideal location. The only possible criticism is that the parking spaces in the garage are a little narrow. Yes, life is great at Jefferson due mostly to the professional staff. There is concierge service 24 hours a day. The building is a secure building monitored by surveillance cameras. The staff treats people with respect but will put a halt to anyone who gets out of control. That rarely happens in this happy environment.

Also, the realtor my mother and I worked with was an absolute nightmare to work with. She called my mother stupid multiple times during the transaction, withheld paper work we needed, and most of all was rude and inconsiderate the whole time I resided there. My car was kicked in or vandalized while it was parked in one of the 15 minute spots near the door. When I asked to see the footage they said they didn't have a clear camera angle of that spot.

Kelly is uneducated and rude. She is looking for problems talking to people that way. Good luck with that attitude. Also this apartment was falling apart since day 1. Maintenance did come to address the issues but they soon became problems over and over that we gave up trying. The concierge is never there to let your guests in. They put all their money into revamping the lobby/leasing office and put none of it into the apartments themselves. I am really disappointed. I have a sister with disabilities and ISABELLA was the only one that was considerate and understanding of our situation. The old management + new management however have consideration whatsoever and only want to do what makes them happy. I'm paying the same amount for this rent for an entire HOUSE. please get educated and professional staff if you're going to be charging those prices. We heard about rats burrowing in people air conditioning units and had to leave immediately. The only good part was the pool and the revamped downstairs area. they also have a horrible dog walker competition with a woman named jackie who cornered my disabled sister + dog in the elevator. do not let her near your children/animals as she does not listen when you tell her to get away. they need to take control of what is going on in their building instead of letting the tenants choose for themselves. again, isabella was amazing 10/10 5 stars for her she deserves a raise for the work ethic and attitude that she has. disappointed.

My wife and I moved to a two-bedroom at River Tides close to 6 years ago having lived in Scarsdale…read morein a six-bedroom home for 47 years. We loved our home and the Scarsdale community, but have never looked back following our move to River Tides. So, what is it about River Tides we like so much? The on-site management staff has been responsive when ever we have needed their help. The 24 hour concierge staff is professional and friendly. Gerson, the super is just that, he is "SUPER." He also oversees an excellent maintenance team as well as a wonderful cleaning team. One special feature of the building is an "events" coordinator who arranges and/or oversees 6-8 monthly activities including scheduling food trucks visits to River Tides, complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres at local restaurants, and occasional on-site wine tasting events. As for the building itself, when you are in the apartment, you cannot hear any of your neighbors. The walls and ceiling keeps your apartment nice and quiet. The amenities are plentiful including the outdoor lifeguard swimming pool, 4 outdoor grills, fire pit, indoor sauna, hot tub, and on-site spa where you can book a massage. There is also a large fitness center for adults of all ages as well as a outdoor playground for pre-schoolers. In the grill area River Tides has even planted a variety of herbs that are free for the taking if you need one or two of them when making dinner. There are three levels of indoor parking as well as a storage area that can hold all the extra "stuff" you should not have brought with you when you made your move. There are two large lounge areas where you can entertainment visitors or relax in with neighbors, as well as a small playroom for toddlers and young kids. The building has also provided an internal communication system to reach both building staff as well as neighbors. But, perhaps two unique features that makes River Tides truly special is the inspiring view it has of the Hudson River and Palisades as well as its access to the Metro North train station one block away. Together with its close proximity to the city, River Tides has been a perfect luxury rental property for my wife and me. John B.
