There's a small green button up high that says" on " which you need to push to get started, but that is masked by all the stop signs and advertising and instructions and taped items that don't work. So the process is: Put your credit card in or get your coins from vending; insert coins or credit card and press start. The other part I don't like is that if you want to use coins, the vending is a walk across the machine operated touchless car wash. That could be dangerous. If a car with water on the front windshield pushes out while you're walking to get coins.
