After getting quotes from three different companies, I went with Carpet Warehouse primarily because of the personal interactions I had with Tracy in the initial stages. She was patient with my questions, and really seemed to care about the work. It felt like a very personalized experience with down-to-earth people. Not sales-y at all. The installers were fantastic. Efficient, tidy, friendly and professional. Their operation was so self-contained, and didn't leave our house in total chaos. They showed attention to detail and pride in the work. No. They just put the carpet in wherever they wanted. Secondly,they didn't tack the carpet down on the stairs and it wasn't even. We won't talk about the mess they left either. This is Empire's error. Carpet was installed on 5/19. It's now 6/7 and I still don't know if they are and when they are going to fix it. I get a call and return it for 3 days straight. No return call. This was because a lady called to see if one of the installers left a tool at my house (two weeks after they were here). I did talk to another person who said he would look into it after I talked to my sales person and he came and took pictures. This was installation manager who I talked with when this first happened not to hear from him again for over two weeks. Not a peep. Then he calls and said he was going to come over today 6/7. It's well after 5pm. No call. Customer service has gone down the drain and this is a good example

The more it was vacuumed and cleaned only brought more dirt to the surface. I complained with the hope that they would make it right, to no avail. The company replied to my first review with statements that were grossly fabricated. Needless to say, I recently had to replace the junk they sold me for quality carpet. Please, don't waste your hard-earned money at Riverchase Carpet and Flooring!

We received quotes from 3 different companies to replace the carpet with LVP throughout. We went into the Brian's showroom to see samples. The woman working was great- she showed us options she thought we would like and helped us pick a classic floor that we think will look timeless. We scheduled for a designer to come out, measure and quote us for the job. Brian's was the only company that gave us an itemized estimate- how much will it cost to remove the old carpet, to move furniture, etc. We knew everything down to the penny and if we handled something ourselves, it got removed. Product was ordered, came in about a week later and the job was scheduled. The flooring install team lead by Daniel was incredible. They were kind, respectful of our home, knowledgeable and meticulous. We think they did a great job. I'm surprised at the other reviews on Yelp as we had a great experience with them (Dec 2025). I would recommend them to anyone looking for flooring!

They did a horrible job with installing and the product they suggested look15 years old after only 8 months. They even cut the floorking to my bathroom and just put nails in it hoping I wouldn't see it. We spent $9,000 on engineered hardwood and the finish was splotchy, some even peeled off and was so worn after less than a year. It was absolutely a waste of money. To make things worse, they glued all of it down to the subfloor which has been a nightmare for my new flooring contractors to remove. They don't stand behind their work and I'd never recommend this company for anything!

She was so incredibly professional, patient, caring and responsive. I have never experienced this level of service with any other vendor for our house. I will definitely be back and recommend her and Issis to anyone. The amount of time she spent with us was so incredible and our selections were absolutely what we are in love with because of her. Issis has such a wide variety that I couldn't find at other places. If they did have any variety they didn't have the service...crickets. No one to talk to no one to help that didn't seem like they had to be somewhere in 5 minutes and were already late. LOOK NO FURTHER!

I had read that prefinished hardwood floors are more durable due to the factory finish applied. Well, these Mohawk hardwoods already have numerous nicks- way more than my previous homes on-site finished hardwood floors. Also , they have this low sheen that is IMPOSSIBlE to keep clean looking. I think the top finish is too soft. I would NOT recommend Mohawk engineered floors. This, after spending $12,000 for them. Would not use or recommend Mohawk hardwoods.
