First list start out was saying the service was phenomenal.. each dish has a special unique twist of its own that is beautifully flavored. Everything cooked too perfection. Place is small intimate with a hint fun flare.. there was a shuffleboard close to the bar area. The oysters were some of the best I've ever tasted and I get quality oysters every time I get a chance.

501 Prime Came here for dinner while visiting and had a solid meal overall. Cool interior, good vibe, and decent service. Not the best I've had, but they took care of us well enough. Started with the spicy tuna tartar "nachos" (17): wonton chips, shoyu mayo, cucumber, yuzu tobiko These stole the show. Super fresh tuna, crispy wontons, creamy shoyu mayo, and that pop from the tobiko. Probably my favorite bite of the night. For mains we got: golden tilefish oscar (63): colossal lump crab, grilled broccolini, beamaise The tilefish was really good. Tender, flaky, with rich béarnaise and sweet crab on top. Great combination. pan roasted monkfish "thermidor" (47): jasmine rice, roasted mushrooms, cognac cream, toasted breadcrumb The monkfish was decent. Good texture, nice sauce, but nothing that really blew me away. Sides: truffle fries (10): garlic aioli creamy polenta (7): roasted corn & tartufata wood fired vegetables (9): green garlic pesto & marinated cherry tomato The truffle fries were crispy with a nice aioli, the polenta was rich and creamy with a deep earthy flavor from the tartufata, and the vegetables were fresh with a good smoky char and bright pesto. Ended with the classic creme brulee (10): local summer fruit & caramelized honey Nice crack on top, creamy underneath. Not the most memorable creme brulee I've had, but still a good way to finish. Overall, good meal, great appetizers, decent entrees.

Our experience at 501 Prime was amazing! The food was delicious, our waitress was wonderful, and they have an excellent bourbon selection. We had the smoked duck egg rolls & Cesar salad for our appetizers. That may be the best salad I have ever had! The black garlic smeared on the plate is delicious. Guys loved the egg rolls too. I enjoyed the truffle chicken & they had the special which was the Grouper. All meals were excellent. We enjoyed Penelope 17 year ALW, Penelope Rio, Heaven Hill GTG Wheated, whiskey sour, & old fashion- all were excellent. If you're in hot springs, you must eat here!

Dry aged tuna belly and Origami sake

I've only been here once, had a great experience. I went to Hot Springs on a whim and this place had an awesome menu from a quick search. I got the dry aged tuna belly and I was not let down. I hate mushrooms, but they managed to get me to clear my plate. They know what they're doing in the kitchen for sure. The vibes inside are great, upper scale feeling that match the menu and prices. It's a little surprising from the parking lot to the restaurant, don't be fooled; it's pretty stellar. I would go again hands down.

The wine Jay recommended! Yum!!!

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant when we stopped in Hot Springs for the night. When we walked in the hostess was so friendly and welcoming! It was a Saturday night and full but she found us two seats at the oyster bar. Jay was our server and he was the best!! We basically followed Jay's lead by starting with a dozen oysters and a bottle of wine that he recommended. For entrees my husband had the Diver Scallops and I had the Hake. While the scallops were outstanding, the Hake was out of this world!! For dessert we had the crème brûlée which was delicious!! Even though we sat at the oyster bar, we were very comfortable and well taken care of. For a busy Saturday night I didn't feel like the place was loud whatsoever and totally enjoyed the entire experience! Special thanks to Jay for his spectacular recommendations and amazing level of service! If we ever get back to Hot Springs, I know where we are going for dinner!! Highly recommend!! You will not be disappointed!!

Brussel sprouts and creamed spinach

We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday and were very happy that we did! Excellent dining experience! Complete five star. Our waiter Bernie was knowledgeable and extremely precise in helping us to narrow down our decisions for dinner. We decided upon the Boursin Filet and an 8oz strip that had a mushroom reduction of some sort (I really wish that I could recall what it was called)... Either way both were extremely delicious. For sides we went with creamed spinach and the Brussel sprouts and we were not disappointed with those either! In reading previous reviews I was a little worried about if it would be a good or bad experience... I'm glad we ignored the negative reviews and came here anyway! Fantastic dining experience for my wife and myself!

North Carolina Bluefin

Easily secured a reservation and sat on the patio. Great atmosphere and service. It was our first time eating there and the staff gave great recommendations. We had two appetizers (smoked oysters on sourdough points and kingfish nachos) both were good, but the nachos were the better of the two. Entree was the seared North Carolina bluefin - it was so good! Cocktails before dinner were old fashioned and a crown jewel - both tasty. We finished the meal with a bourbon pecan pie cocktail (shared) and it hit the spot! Lastly, want to commend the staff - my husband accidentally left an heirloom money clip (full of cash) in his seat after waiting for change. Thankfully- Since we had a reservation, they called us after leaving the restaurant to let us know we had left an item at the table. They retuned the money clip in tact with his cash. Very thankful for their honesty and integrity. (We left a tip for whoever recovered the money clip for their kindness!). We will definitely return!

Crème Brûlée

Really enjoyed this place. Food was excellent and service was fantastic! There was a wedding upstairs and we could hear the band so that was even better! Drinks were good and this crème brûlée was perfect! Would come back here.

Food was good. Selection of items is not what it was last time we ate here. Out of pork chops on a Saturday night - wow.

By the Glass - Mixed Mediterranean Olives ($5.50) after my son had eaten about 1/3.

To accompany our happy hour wines my son and I ordered two of his favorite things: Mixed Mediterranean Olives ($5.50) and a Spanish cheese ($9). Perhaps I've spent too long in the Bay Area or perhaps they do things differently in Arkansas but the mountainous bowl of olives that arrived at our table sparked utter joy. This wasn't 5, 10, or even 15 olives; I think it might've been a whole jar's worth. It was not only amusing, but an utter delight. One hundred percent chance of a return visit for the olives alone. We followed with the Spanish cheese and more wine but there was no getting beyond the olives. That's what we'd be talking about. Forever. By the Glass has a good happy hour ($5/glass for selected wine) which pertains only to the wines. It's a low-key, comfortable, unpretentious spot that's received recognition as the best bar, the best wine bar, the best trendy bar, and the best happy hour bar from a variety of publications. During my visit it was quiet and welcoming, an environment I'd feel equally comfortable in either solo or with friends. If you like wine, "By the Glass" is a good find. If you like olives it's even better.

The decor was very homey and intimate with quirky artwork and a really neat cork BtG design near the bar. It was smooth, dry and perfect for the night. Would definitely visit again next time i'm in Little Rock!

From the beginning, Penny (the owner) was wonderful to work with. She immediately felt like family, and she consistently looked out for us throughout the planning process, helping us choose the perfect food, appetizers, and drinks. The evening of the reception went off without a hitch. The venue was gorgeous, lit softly by candlelight and creating exactly the atmosphere we hoped for. The food was outstanding--appetizers were served during cocktail hour by attentive waitstaff (you must try the toasted ravioli!), and the dinner buffet was hot, delicious, and enjoyed by everyone. We heard so many compliments from our guests. But the very best part was the staff. Penny's team is exceptional--professional, kind, and genuinely dedicated to making the night unforgettable. They helped create an experience even better than I could have imagined. I cannot say enough good things about the Porterhouse Club. Several of our guests told us it was one of the coolest receptions they had ever attended. My daughter's dream wedding reception came to fruition thanks to Penny and her staff. Thank you all so much.
