I guess I will be the first one to review this Barbershop. This is my first time coming here. I…read morewas looking for a place that was open on Monday evening...surprisingly, not many places open until 8 pm on a Monday. I decided to come here because I liked what I saw in the pictures they posted on yelp. For my haircut, I wanted to go less than 0 gradually going to level 1-2, leaving the top slightly long to comb over to the side. Abe, who did my hair, was very friendly and skilled! You can tell he enjoys cutting his hair. He did an excellent job! After he was finished, he showed me how to style my hair properly. I haven't had this style before, so the next day, when I went to work and then to see my friends in the evening, they were all shocked how great my haircut looked. I actually never had that many compliments before about my hair ever! Although I live 30 mins drive from this barbershop, I will definitely keep this barbershop as my main one and will keep on coming back to see Abe. Thanks Abe! :)

Cheapest barber shop in the city - in a good way. Good quality, quick haircut at a great price…read more He's gone up to $16, but you can't blame him for that because he has to recoup some losses from being forced to close by the province early on in the pandemic last year along with all the other barber shops. Also the building he's located in also flooded recently and he had to close down then as well until the landlord cleaned it up. But at least then he was remaining open at a nearby female hair salon. Really the only negative is he doesn't accept credit cards, cash or debit only, but this is in large part why he can keep his prices so cheap. Otherwise he'd be over $20 like most other barber shops. Personally I give him a $20 and let him keep the change as a tip, because he deserves it and could use it too.

I want to be very clear up front: I've consistently received excellent haircuts at this location…read more Many of the barbers here are skilled, professional, and encouraging -- including encouraging follow-ups or touch-ups when appropriate. I've appreciated that and want to acknowledge the quality of their work. Unfortunately, I can no longer be a patron of this shop because of the behavior of the person who runs it, Rachel. I recently received a voicemail intended for me, but it continued beyond the initial message. In the portion that followed, I overheard disparaging comments made about me to staff...including inaccurate statements and an unprofessional tone...spoken under the assumption that I was no longer listening. I raised this directly and respectfully, giving Rachel the opportunity to take responsibility and repair the situation. Instead of ownership or accountability, the response was dismissive and attempted to redirect the conversation away from the behavior that was overheard. For me, how someone conducts themselves...especially when they believe they are speaking privately...matters. While I value the barbers here and their work, I won't continue to support a business where leadership speaks about clients in that way and then refuses to take responsibility when confronted. This is a principled decision. I wish the individual barbers well, but I won't be returning.

This is a fantastic barbershop...don't be fooled because it's in the Bonnie Dooner Mall…read more Awesome skin fades and attention to detail. I've had some of the best fades in town recently from this shop. I've had my haircut by 4 different barbers here. I'm at the point where I'll just show up and wait (never too long) for the next available chair and know I'll have a great outcome. And a very reasonable $20 for a cut. Excellent customer service and sharp cuts, that's probably why it's always busy. Be adventurous and get a design!

By FAR, the worst cut I've ever had. I should have listened to Bradley, as he did the same 9/10, more on top secretly cut, and would not point the chair to the mirror until he was almost done. Just terrible. My hair is all kinds of different lengths now and can't be styled aside from spiking, which I explicitly asked him to avoid. Lazy, terrible work.

I have used the Lendrum Barber Shop for many years. It is the little shop that could! The owner,…read moreAchraf, is a real artist whose professional virtuosity is breathtaking. For instance, recently I was running errands near the Duke's Barber Shop and, silly me, decided to try them. The Korean woman "Cindy" (the only Korean I know who has such an incredibly low work ethic) slaughtered my hair so badly it was beyond belief. I looked like a monster. One emergency visit at the Lendrum Barber Shop later, and I am absolutely happy again. Initially, I did not believe anything could be done, but Achraf proved me wrong. It took him fifteen minutes to change the nightmarish "haircut" done by "Cindy" into something both presentable and elegant. If you are looking for an inexpensive place offering excellent haircuts, look no further than the Lendrum Barber Shop.
